I'm just wondering how many people will be getting a season ticket for 26-27 lots of people seem to be undecided for various reasons, cost being one but also the direction the club is going and the entertainment value. Personally I see crowds being around the 25k mark next term.

I dont think there will be a significant drop off but it will likely be down a bit.

Hope I'm wrong because our fanbase, home and away has grown nicely since 25 years ago.

I'm basing my assumption on how many i know who have stopped coming this season, even with season tickets, and the fact that next season won't be as appealing to some at present, compared to the last decade.

Season ticket?…Yeah of course, going to the match means a lot more than just watching the football.
Although in a big milestone birthday year…I might miss a few.

I have little enthusiasm to pay the big lump and renew but they've got us by the balls with the difference between matchday price average with ST and without - it's significant. If you will go to over about 8 games you might as well just renew

They've also got me by the balls because I'm right on the top tier loyalty point borderline and without the points from a ST purchase I'll no longer be a Top Blade

Judging by the regular empty seats around me, in a part of the ground where there shouldn't be any, a large number are not going to renew, and there will be opportunity to change seats to some in good areas

My guess is that season ticket sales will hold up pretty well. But unless we’re flying high, there will likely be a drop off in the number of people buying individual match tickets next season. Averaging around 25,000 sounds about right to me, assuming we’re chugging along in mid-table.

Blades are for life.
Not just for Wembley.

I can't afford to pay the renewal price; money is very tight, even though I am a senior. The cost-of-living. goes up.
A family member has stopped going with the prices to gain entry is different every home game.
I will go to home games on Saturday at 3 pm. Have Sky so I can watch any match on TV in midweek.

I agree ... that's what I'm doing.

I’ll always renew. I’ve had the same seats with my old school mates for about 20 years now.

Now we’re all grown up with wives and kids those 23 days a year mean a lot.

But I do hope we’ll see wholesale changes top to bottom.
Like what? A couple of divorces? One of them running off with the milkman (or woman)?

I worked yesterday, round the ground around 2ish,seeing red and white shirts should get me but it didn’t,checked in a couple of times to see the score,3-1 up,pleased, checked in again,3-3. Fucks sake, these players, management, owners really piss me off. Bottom line is, I did not miss it 1 iota ! For the second season running, high doubt I’m going to renew.

Blades are for life, I agree, but the Wembley comment, I don't agree with that. Been to the old and the New Wembley.
As we all know, lost the lot. I dont think I want to go there again.
I don't think you got the meaning of my post.🤔

Reluctantly No, even though I have not enjoyed this season, and there have been many seasons I have not enjoyed over the 60 seasons I have been going, but there have been many that I have really enjoyed. However health has got the better of me my mobility has taken a nose dive, and find it difficult to get up and down the steps. I will see this season out, and for the last home game sit for a while and complentate all the times I have enjoyed it.
Suppose the only good side is that I have one of those fire sticks, so at least I can watch the games next season.

We haven’t got a ST waiting list, so if for various reasons people want to dip out for a season or two, it shouldn’t really be a problem to get back in again.

I think a lot renew if they've got a decent crowd of friends around them, knowing if they quit they can't get back there. Where I sit there's a good mix of old and young folk and we all get along fine, 4 have left for different reason this last year and their replacements don't even talk to us so I guess it'll not be much fun soon, along with petrol and especially parking cost getting ridiculous nowadays

I don’t think so. After having one for probably the last 20 years continuously,

Various personal reasons which are the main factors but price has nudged over what I think is decent value. To be honest though, I’ve always been in a similar situation, but these owners have made a huge mess of things this season. The whole Selles situation, recruitment and generally their inability to communicate at all. I’m not a big fan of owners that like the sound of their own voices, but this lot are practicing a vow of silence.

It’s hard to feel connected and to understand the direction that the club is going.
