Will you be renewing/buying a season ticket?

ive had a season ticket for years now and im not renewing this next season simply because its cheaper to pay for each game seperately because of deals on offer for certain games ie wednesday night against plymouth a tenner

Are you absolutely sure on that? Have you worked the price out, sitting in the same stand for every game?

Season ticket prices are generally offered saying that they will still save money on any promotions given on tickets (generally category C games at £10)

Whilst i am sure that you save money as a season ticket holder, i'm pretty sure that the amount you save isn't substantial; especially if you have to miss a match here or there.

I made it to to 21 home games last season; my season ticket cost me £450 so that works out at £21 per game. If a ticket for every match would have cost me £25 i would have saved £75 over the course of the season. However, if i could have attanded 4 of those games for £10 (i'm pretty sure that there were 4 reduced price games this year) i would have saved only £15 over the course of the season.

My numbers may not be exact but they are pretty close and i know that my season ticket would have been £50 cheaper this season so i would prbably end up saving £60 this time around but that doesn't take into account games where the tickets cost less then £25 so its swings and round abouts really.

Bottom line is that if i could gaurentee that i would be free every saturday and if i didn't have another child due in November i would be renewing. Because i cannot gaurentee these things there is no point because i would probably end up losing money.

I can get in to matches at NUS price if I buy the tickets individually, but I can't get an NUS season ticket as I'm not in full time education. It's cheaper for me to buy tickets individually, the only downsides being not having the same seat every match, possibly missing matches that might sell out, and the number of loyalty points awarded being fewer.
