Season ticket lending

It costs a fiver at the ticket office to change from a consession season ticket to a normal ticket.

I thought this thread was gonna be asking if you could get loans secured on your season ticket.

You know, like log book loans.

Well done everyone saying upgrade. Anybody cheating or having cheated really shouldn't be moaning about a lack of investment. Ever.
A very good point, however I had a good 3yrs of concession tickets (sometime ago), despite not qualifying, I always thought about the point you made and ended up with buying a full priced season ticket, and also £17 per month to the Blades Superdraw.

I can confirm in the last 10yr since upgrading to a full price ticket the club have invested fuck all and that's also the sum I've won on the super draw, so irrespective of which ticket you buy the club will still invest nowt.

If you go to the ticket office with the ST you pay the difference between the concession price and full price for that particular match - about £6. They then give you a full price paper ticket to use. You can do the upgrade 6 times a season, though I don’t know if they keep count.

they can't do. I'm well into double figures this season.

You used to be able to go to the ticket office and pay the difference, I believe. Can this still be done, if you don’t want the wife locking up?
fintious maximus
I have a concession for my wife, if my son can make game I go and upgrade it by paying £7ish at ticket office. They give you a paper ticket and say you can only upgrade 6 times in a season (but they can't check cause I've done it more than that).
Mate of mines son had a student concession ticket from years back, orange light shows above turnstile and steward thought he was a bit old so asked for proof. Long story short hauled off to ticket office and ticket confiscated. This is fraud and they do take action. So for sake of a£7 gamble you can
1) watch the game worry free
2) watch your gurt be carted off to the ticket office and explain to your neighbour why his ticket has been cancelled.
3) wave bye bye as she carted off and then go and watch the game.

You thought about it and came up with that as a reason for it being acceptable? Ohhkay...

Mate of mine at work has 3 season tickets for arsenal, he lives in Mansfield, he "lends" them out every week for a "donation" towards his life fund, does it every year n makes a pretty penny from it too!

Be a real man let her enter , with your legit ticket , you be the one to take the risk/ridicule , If you fail . if you look mean you have more chance , Stewards tend to leave mean fans alone and go for soft options .

Not worth it for a penny, no matter how nice it is.

If you're going to break the law and counterfeit currency, surely you'd want to make pound coins?

A lot of lugging about pennies and it's going to look pretty obviously every time you try to buy a pint. Casually reaching into the reinforced shopping trolley you've brought the funds in for a good night out.

I’m too much of a law abiding citizen and bought her a ticket this morning. Heres to a great home victory tonight. Utb
