Absolute disgrace. That's what happens when this board does not invest in the team. Obvious to all of us they would not sign anyone just SPIN!

This is League One and the boad don't care

Wigan invested and it shows.

This board needs to put up IMMEDIATELY or F&&k OFF!!!!!

Not just that Wigan have invested, they have bought the right type of players.
They also managed to hold onto their good ones...using their parachute payments. I agree they have also picked wisely and built a decent team. Definitely going up.

If KM was a manager he'd have been sacked years ago.

Please go Kevin the club is in a complete mess because of you. Best of intentions and spent some dosh over the years but you Fucked up big time and have turned us into a complete laughing stock.

As fans we really need to force them out now. Easier said than done but at point to we start to force the situation?

Fans need to make themselves heard otherwise everything will just carry on the same.

I take it no one could be bothered to turn up in the car park afterwards to make their feelings known? There you have it. Complete apathy. All this talk about what would happen afterwards if we lost is just that - talk. It's all that ever happens and all that ever will. After the fans got slated for staging the car park demo against Wilson's appointment, no one wants to be seen to be doing anything like that again. The board are having a far too easy ride and they probably know they'll continue to get away with selling the fans down the river. This club is sleepwalking into oblivion I tell you.

Wouldn't say it shows, over the two recent games Wigan look average at best... We've just conspired to give them 5 goals.

They were 3-0 up last time before a fluke comeback.

And they could easily have been 3-0 up again.

They're hardly outstanding but the difference between us and them is blatant.

We're miles behind - but maybe that's because we want to be.

Moral is that low it seems we've given up. fair point about the previous protest I think people would be concerned they would be ridiculed, but this would be a valid protest unlike the Wilson one.

Apathy is worse than anger in this situation. People seem to have given up and accepted this is how it is now. McCabe and the rest of them will never truly realise what they have done to this club and to its fans. People are on praise and grumble now saying they are ashamed to be a Blade. People who have been going for decades are saying they are giving it up. People who have invested a large chunk of their lives into this football club have fallen out of love with it.

There are no words that could illustrate the contempt I have for those people who have made me hate something I have loved all my life

I think many fans have already made their views crystal to JP on different media before the game and he will certainly be bombarded after this set back. I think the apathy stems from even if we protest against the board, nothing will change we are stuck with them. The club is in limbo, rudderless with no direction, and there isn't even a flicker to say it will change, totally depressing.

Seasons not over yet we can write promotion off
more of a worry now is bottom of the table we cant beat top or bottom teams we are a mess as a club
a question we can ask though
DOES the board want to run this club of ours to the pits? Do they want us relegated? And are they watching the games we are watching and if so
Why are they not sorting the rubbish sometimes on display

I feel just the same mate but I can't hate the club, I don't even hate my ex wife I feel nothing for her and the same is happening with United. McCabe on the other hand I don't know whether it is hate or utter contempt

Today isn't the right example. Wigan were a Premiership club 3 years ago so you expect them to invest but look how far we are behind clubs with a fraction the support and budget and you get the problem.

I hate everything that represents the club at the moment. I can forgive Adkins despite the mistakes he has made because he is in a situation that is almost impossible. I too am losing care for the club. Earlier in the season I was fuming at defeats like today but now I'm just quite apathetic about it all. The passion hasnt been totally kicked out of me but I fear it will do eventually

A bloke on FH saying he doesn't think the board are to blame FFS. This board and many previous boards ( Dooley exempt ) have shown no positive drive to promotion but sit up and take notice when we have some club sniffing around our better players.

The reason our club is floundering in division 3 for the 5th and possibly 6th season sits squarely at the boardroom. Lack of ambition has been replaced with hope and nothing more. The fans backed McCabe when he persued the Tevez affair but when he won the battle it seems he took the cash and ran.

I could go on but at this minute I can't express the hatred I have towards the board of Sheffield United who I've been watching since the late 60's.

Spot on Foxy, I thought Swindon were fare more impressive than Wigan, however, teams don't have to play much more than average to beat this shower.

Lets all stop whingeing, at least Sheffield Wednesday won today and are keeping up a playoff place a real chance. Then people in Sheffield will be able to see some real football. Because we do not know how to play at the Lane

The problem we've got (amongst many others) is that Wigan - and to a greater extent - Stoke, Bournemouth, Southampton etc. have serious money behind them. McCabe has gone as far as he can. His wealth is now pocket money in today's game and United is his hobby.

Seriously mate posts like that are beyond the pale. I despise the pigs and anyone glorifying anything they do needs their bumps feeling. They could win the Champions League 10 times in a row and I wouldn't feel a smidgen of envy, because I'll ALWAYS be delighted I'm not a pig.

Off for a beer.

WTTWY gents. Let's hope BIFA rises again.

We had parachute payments once and pissed them away
