It was a good save - probably his best - one of the best I have seen, live.

...then again I witnessed Mel Rees's display against Liverpool at home in the 90s - now that was utter class - a string of first class saves.
 
If he just pushes that save round the post I bet it wouldn't have had anything remotely close to the amount of coverage. The fact he's able to flick it back forward suggests it was far more in his range than it probably looked at the time, and it's the novelty of the way he flicks it mid-flight that's made it so questionably memorable.

Nice height for a keeper, not in the corner, not remotely powerful header – the amount this gets replayed is disproportionate to the actual quality of the save in my opinion.
