Why is this sunday with a 12.15 kick off????? Cant think why,its not on sky or anything.thanks

The police and club wanted a practice run for the pathetic crowds we'll be getting next season.

Has anyone actually given us an official reason for this daft fixture ?

Oh in case you've all forgot don't the clocks go forward on sunday. I reckon there'll be a few giving it a miss.

Bugger! When did that get changed, I hadn't even noticed before seeing this thread! Will have to rethink the weekend plans now, had been planning on just going up for the day saturday.

Try squeezing in a junior league game before! 10am kick off there for 9:15 but with clocks going forward thats really 8:15 on a Sunday!!!!!!

Was aware of that several weeks ago and I told my lad's manager (Derby fan) about this. When we played Whiston Wildcats at home my lad's manager asked Wildcat's manager if they could play the away game on 28th March earlier than 11am and telling him that it was cos some of the players are Blades fans. Wildcat's manager's reply was "Thanks for reminding me, I am a Blade too, so I will try to arrange for a 10am kick off"

It's to do with Sunday trading. The game will be over by 2pm giving everybody plenty of time to get down to Jonny James to get some more shoes after they've pegged them in the car park after.

It's all very well changing the day of the game, but why 12.15 ko?
They don't think about the fans playing football at all on Sunday mornings.
