Scougall says goodbye

I can't see it tbh. I think his best bet is L1. He could go back to Scotland but I think he could earn less there. I can see him at somewhere like MKD. That said, his girlfriend has apparently left her job so he can't have been hopeful about getting a contract with Donny or Rotherham and maybe he just wants to go home.

Just going to post "get thi sen t'Donny lad"

Be a good fit and his new mates at The Blades being near would mean no settling in.

The goal scoog's scored at Wembley is the one I'll remember for 2 reasons.

1, We'd just celebrated Baxter's open play goal AT WEMBLEY and the chance to celebrate a goal there was something special.

2, The sinking feeling when Hull equalised was soon erased when moments later the wee man was jockey on the spot to retake the lead from Murphy's low cross. The noise was incredible as was the sight of 30,000 + Blades jumping up and down in celebration.

Thank you Scoog's for your service to the Blades.
I'll always remember his goal at Wembley and the crazy celebrations with my mates!!. Thanks scoogs for everything you did for the blades. Good luck for the future!!. Scoooogal

I know we are still all a bit on happy pills so are perhaps a bit forgiving to some players who have been released .

Remember seeing Scougall play for Livingston a couple of times and couldn't understand why someone like Celtic or a championship club had not snapped him up .
He did seem to glide past players 3 times his size and had speed and control.

He does seem a confidence player and perhaps Clough and Madkins regime did not help his career , also truth be known the club was in turmoil with players who couldn't care a shit about the club . Wilder came in and Scougs became somewhat surplus to requirements .

Different time , different circumstances and he may have been a regular , who knows , again all if , buts , and maybes . Any way good luck to him building a future in the game of football .

See ya, Scougs. Truly, all the very best.

Glad I got to chant "Scoooougs" at him at the Town Hall before he's left.

Played his part this season too. What was it? - 4, 5 goals? And always with the characteristic heart and energy whenever he appeared.

He can do a bit when introduced as an impact player but his ability in relation to his physicality and stature means he's not good enough to play in the championship but not physical enough to play REGULARLY at this level, thanks for the service but exactly the type of player Wilder is getting out of the squad and rightly so.

SCOOOUUUUUGAAL.

Good luck Mighty Mouse. Prove us all wrong. After all, Billy Bremner wor only little.....AND he was a Scot!

[QUOTE="TTMeysh, post: 1327922, member: 17787" It was an odd quirk of FLN's spell here that he acquired so many players who would struggle to see over the steering wheel of a BMW.[/QUOTE]

Think he drives an EVO

He never seemed to possess the ability in my opinion to be a good player. He made good contributions though on occasion. His attitude was and is first class and I wish him all the best.

Top lad Scougs. His goal gave me longest half-time of my life at Wembley in '14. Hope to see him, and Sparky, get fixed up somewhere decent as they both have much to offer

His goal at Wembley is probably one of the goals I've celebrated most in all my time watching the Blades.

Scougs could join Bradford, I'm sure McArdle will look after him.

Gave his all, played at difficult times during his united career. Contributed to the promotion this season and I like many others went crackers when he scored at Wembley.
He's acted with class despite the fact he must be hurting about having to leave. And that's why if he ever plays at BDTBL again I'm sure he'll be given a warm welcome

Well done Scougs & all the best for the future , always gave 100% and I will always remember some special moments from the cup runs
