Scotland Fans Views On John Fleck

Most of my mates up here are Buddies ( St Mirren ) but I also have many Hoops and Gers mates.

The anti Scottish shite on here seriously does my nut in , my wife is a proud Scot as are my lads. Guess what , I get the 'banter' chat but this vibe seems to go beyond that. Grown blokes , decent posters at that .

Narrow streets breed narrow minds.

I think the MI6 need to call you in as you have obviously gone rogue.

I like Scotland and Scots generally, have some friends near Dumfries and watch out for QoS. There's always been a talent drain to England since the 1890's, and since the SPL started the gap between the 2 big clubs and all the others has become unbridgeable. It's only really Glasgow that the silly sectarianism happens, and I think these days it's football idiots related rather than reflecting society generally. Nowt wrong with wanting to play for your country, especially such a fine one as Scotland. Slainte!!!

I’m looking forward to watching Scotland later, hopefully Fleck will play and will be more advanced than the other day.

I reckon they should be able to get a draw against San Marino

Not in the squad for today’s game against San Marino... hope he isn’t injured!!

Reading some of the anti Rangers posts it would appear that quite a few of them have forgotten Scotland are shite with or without certain players.

No doubt a win against San Marino will be down to Fleck and McBurnie not playing.

Look, all this used to be called banter or taking the piss. Scotland and England is one of the oldest cross border rivalries in the world. But because the rivalry in not a “symmetrical” one the Scots do have a persecution complex. So if the same bile and vitriol that they routinely throw towards the English is then reciprocated it is seen in some way as being more sinister and tantamount to bullying.

With so many Union flags at Rangers games and Celtic essentially being a club for the Irish....... Who even cares about Scotland?

I for one am ecstatic that none of our players are playing for the skirt-wearing twats

Not disagreeing but making the point he’s played at the Euros and that’s as much as NI are likely to achieve theses days (they are unlikely to qualify for a World Cup) Norwood I think realises he’s achieved as much as can for them.
Qualifying for the Euros is arguably tougher than qualifying for the World Cup. Winning it is definitely tougher, as you don’t get as many small fry (that’s ‘tinpot’ to any pigs reading) nations qualifying as you do at the WC- North Korea, Iran etc.

The Scots have a humongous chip on their shoulder when it comes to football. If Fleck played in the SPL he wouldn’t be getting any stick, they just hate to see players from the English leagues picked. Same with McBurnie.

Besides, no one looks good playing for Scotland. Look at Robertson for example.

Let's see their ranking if they only picked players who played in the Scottish league. I'm guessing fighting Burkina Faso for a place in the top 250

Been trolling a few on the BBC this afternoon.
What I find amazing is that some still find a way to blame the English for them being terrible.
Imagine being that bitter? It must eat you up inside?

That's the acid reflux from all those deep fried mars bars...

Hmm, don't think this qualifying idea is true - 24 teams in the Euros, 14 European teams at the last World Cup - suggesting it's a lot tougher to qualify for the World Cup!

It’s pretty much the non-league world of International Football. Sorry to say.

seriously?

since the expansion to 24 teams it’s almost harder to not qualify for the Euros.

If they played Alex Salmond ,Nicola Sturgeon ,Billy Bremner and Mel Gibson I couldn't hate them more

Maybe chuck in Susan Boyle, The Krankies, Rod Stewart, Shhhhhean Connery and Sir Old Red Nose?
