Scoring Keepers

I always thought Ipswich Town was spelt

C O V E N T R Y ... C I T Y.

That's who I meant.

On another note. Four goals direct from corner kicks.

Alan Woodward. Four, direct, from corner kicks.

I nominate the Bramall Lane Stand, now the Alan Woodward Stand.

These days, do we even get 4 a season as a result of corners being played into the box?

Wasn't too hard was it?

Jim Brown and Alan Fettis. Of course neither did it for the Blades. Both scored two each. So as a keeper it really was just Jim Brown.

Fettis a long standing player with Hull sometimes played as a striker as they were so short of players on occasions.

As someone said up thread, Goram did it too, for Hibs, so there are two scoring keepers.

I'm not sure a keeper has ever scored at the lane. Anyone know? It has happened at Hillsborough - Steve Ogrizovic did it for Coventry, in 1986-7 I think.
