Playing for Manchester United right now would be alot easier. You can stroll around and pick up a nice big pay cheque. Wilder wouldn't let it happen. Also our fans can be just as critical, the big difference being the media attention on a global scale. Henderson has all that character traits to do well for Manchester United. The fact he has arguably been the best goalie in the premier league is good for us as they will logically want to keep him under contract until he is ready to replace de gea ,which means they will keep loaning him out and his preferred destination would seem to be s2
Svhmeivel makes a good point ,Henderson would have been crucified for some of the goals he's let in for us this season if he was in a man utd shirt
As it is the focus has been on his positives but he still has a lot to learn and a long way to go in his development

He seems to be forgetting the fact that Man Us best team in living memory had a core of young, hungry players who would die for the shirt and who thrived on pressure. If Henderson doesn't fit that category then I don't know who does.

Oh and they have been fairly crap for a few years now, so this 'expectation' that he talks about is diminishing with every passing season. If the status quo continues for another year or two, they'll be no better regarded than Arsenal are, and will have a smaller global fanbase than Citeh and Liverpool, if they haven't already.
