Don’t see it as abuse and yes it is taking the piss out of the fan base as you say but it’s about a fellow manager.
Yeah, that's true. Probably one too many Peronis affected his judgement. he might regret it a bit after, but no malicious intent.

What a bunch of fannies we have all become.
Bloke has a good day at work, bloke drinks beer, bloke sings a song.

Who cares? I didn't give a toss when Madine called Billy a fat pig. I didn't care when Barry Shitwig called Brewster honking........ I couldn't give a toss about the picture of a ham sandwich that looks like Wilder - I actually think they are quite funny.

The reason Wilder is great at what he does is his connection to the fan base..... who were mostly drinking beer and singing United songs.

Barry Shitwig😄

I know Wilder gets some hammer about that Palace game comments, but that was an official after the game meeting between a manager and the four officials and Premier League delegate to talk about decisions in the game. Its like you going into a meeting with a client and then they are start eating the buffet whilst the meeting is taking place and ignoring the discussion. I actually got and understand his comments.

Managers only get that one meeting with officials post match. Any issue Wilder has with them regarding the match has to probably go in a letter to the PGMOL or the FA and probably gets filed away in the dustbin.

I imagine that the linesman was peripheral to the discussion and was just a bit peckish. I assume he wasn’t stood there slapping his chops and making noise over Wilder’s rant. I wasn’t there though so it may have been some really disrespectful eating by the liner.

I find it a bit shit. Lacking in class & dignity. But I don't expect anything more than, perhaps, some sort of censure from the LMA to result from it.

Can't imagine the new owners being too enamoured with footage all over social media of the club's figurehead pissed up on a pub table though.
I didn't know this

If Danny Rohl has any sense he will market himself and make a few quid from it I wouldn't be offended in the slightest if it was me.

I mean, how classy is it for the manager of one football club to sing a song which is mocking the surname of a foreign manager of the other football club in the city?

not very.
Which would be perfectly fine if he was singing this about say... Stokes manager but this is a one off occasion where he let his fan side over rule his manager side after a few well deserved drinks.

I'll agree it's not very classy, it is a bit cringey but fuck me, it's hardly anything to get titties on about. Growing up I remember footy players being regularly in the news under accusation of getting pissed, starting fights and even sexual assault. Some big players have had 'gotcha' stories about possible dodgy dealings, cheating on their missus and god knows what else and people are concerned over a pissed manager singing a song about his rival club and lets not forget he was around other fans. It's hardly like he ran up to Danny in the tunnel singing it. Fuck me.

I suspect he'll get censured for it. It's stupid, butt hey ho, not the end of the world.

Them morons have to go to extremes don't they.

And after what a significant minority of their fans have done recently they have no room to preach to anyone.

And then to spread such vile and disgusting lies about CW daughter as fact just shows this person's lowlife mentality.

What CW did was a bit of light hearted fun and banter.

What the Wednesday Fan is alleging here without a shred of evidence about Wilders daughter is vile yet this whopper is trying to compare they are a different breed.

A large majority of their fans could be heard singing that grim song about Wilder's daughter in the first half yet its Wilder who is classless for singing Sausage Roll - fuck me they're on another planet
Do you honestly expect anything less from such a vile fan base that have more incidents of vile and abusive behaviour than offensive things said by their fans than any other team.

There is a serious problem at that god awful club.

I’m more outraged along with many woke lefties about his feelings towards treatment of pigs. Everyone knows that swinging pigs is harmful to them and causes undue stress especially in areas such as Hyde park flats and wadsley bridge. It also makes the bacon taste bitter
As usual, you have cut straight to the real issue here, Animal rights and how the singing of a song that is part of the Blades folklore can be really offensive to porcine animals, he confounds it by then singing about products made from such animals. I'm beginning to think that maybe farming might not be a good career choice, nor for that matter a career as an opera singer.

Didn't Simon Tracey once get censured by the FA for the heinous crime of impersonating an aeroplane after a goal in the Derby (possibly Whitehouse at the Lane)?

They're little cry-babies, they always have been. That's why the fan motto WAWAW is a written representation of the sound of someone weeping.

The reason that this won’t happen is because Rohl gives less than a fuck about the pigs and see it as a stepping stone to another job. He has no affiliation to their club. They’d love their manager to be a fan as well, we’ve all seen the envy over the last few years. Wilder mk2 is tarnished but he’s a lot better than they’ve had for a long time.

He's just beaten his city rivals after being under enormous pressure to win in front of a home crowd. Look how he punched the air at the final whistle, it's easy to see what it meant to him. Let's face it, our fans would have had a nuclear meltdown if we'd lost one nil to Wendy.

He's been through hell, and possibly still is over George Baldock.

It's the international break, he's at a private session for the staff and close friends.
Surely he's allowed to get tipsy and have a laugh? This is what he is, he likes a beer and sometimes goes a bit far. He's got a few rough edges but so what. I'd rather have this then some uptight guy that has no connection with the fans. Oh and the person that posted the video is a prick.

It was half price sausage roll day at that food licenced venue. You had to sing about sausage rolls to get them half-price.

I'm sure the landlord will confirm this.

IIRC the claim was “running around with his arms outstretched making grunting noises”.

How anyone in the away end was able to hear that with Tracey at the top of his penalty area beats me. Especially with three sides* of the ground going mental.

What annoys me about all this faux outrage from their side, is that managers and players in English football (including Wendys), have been going for post match refreshments in local pubs with fans and getting involved in frivolity for as long as there's been the sport of football.

Everyone knows it. It's part of our culture, and there's thousands of stories out there.

Yet a couple of social media posts and everyone loses their minds.

Stupid

Would Wilder pass his own character test he applies to players before they join United? No.
Is he guilty of anything serious ? No other than very poor judgement with the potential new owners in town.
Will they be prepared to back Wilder in the JTW? Probably based on current form but imagine if your new bosses saw you behaving like that.
Wilder is the figurehead and role model for the club more so than players. Think he should consider his relationship with beer and his behaviour away from the pitch.
Basically nowt but poor judgement on his behalf.
