Here’1. Right we get promoted to the premier league does anyone think wilder would be able to turn us into a stable premier league team?such as Aston Villa,Forrest,Brentford,Fulham etc
IMO he’s a great championship/league 1 manager but doesn’t just tick the premier league quality boxes. Any team needs to sign quality players to have any chance. Although saying this kills me I believe sausage Roll would be able to take us to that level I believe that he’s going to be a top class manager and not 1 person can argue what a tremendous job he’s done with the awful squad he inherited. Many proven Championship managers before him failed miserably. How he kept them up last season was beyond belief it was impossible he’s had nothing to spend preseason and look we’re they are now. 4 points off the playoffs 1 if they beat Leeds tomorrow which 1 think they will there’s always a team that quietly sneaks into the playoffs at the last minute I believe they will imagine us finishing in the playoffs and play them in playoff final Ffs 🤦‍♀️

Knobhead🐷

I’m sure some folk think sausage is managing just players he inherited and got them all playing great. He got rid of what he deemed shite and made a load of signings including £3m for that dud Ugbo because he scored a few last season, turns out hes shite and rohl couldn’t see it.

With their squad they are a mid table side and that’s where they will finish, there is nothing special about rohl or the way they play.

Thought I'd ask Grammarly to translate:

Dear S24SU,

I hope this letter finds you well. As a devoted supporter of Sheffield United, I wanted to express my thoughts regarding our team's potential future in the Premier League, particularly in light of current performance and managerial capability.

Our recent successes have reignited discussions about the possibility of promotion to the Premier League. While Chris Wilder has an impressive track record at the Championship and League One levels, questions remain regarding his ability to adapt and establish a stable Premier League team akin to clubs like Aston Villa and Brentford.

It is evident that securing key signings will be crucial to our success in the top tier. Despite my reservations about Wilder’s suitability for the Premier League, I have strong faith in Sausage Roll. His exemplary management skills have shone through the challenges posed by an underwhelming squad, especially considering the remarkable feat of maintaining our status last season against the odds.

As the playoff race intensifies, I remain optimistic that we can clinch a playoff spot and make a strong push for promotion. It would be thrilling to see us compete in the playoff final, and I believe we can achieve this if we continue to build on our current momentum.

Thank you for your attention to these thoughts.

Sincerely,

Gyp the blade

He's a good manager. But so far he's managed to take a club ten places up the league. That's no where near Wilder levels.

I have a story for you.

I used to know a guy in school, and he was a quiet enough chap but one day he shat himself during an end of year assessment in year 10. Stank the place out and everyone could smell it, it was absolutely rank.

The poor guy would never get over this and a few weeks later he requested to leave the school.

After year 11 he came back to do A Levels and everyone called him ‘SP’ for shitty pants (inventive I know) and the guy really went further into his shell. He spent the rest of sixth form sat in a corner playing on his phone and not speaking to anyone.

I found out a couple of years ago the guy was still unemployed and his girlfriend had cheated on him with her uni professor at Bradford uni!

He now lives in a bedsit in Bradford. Single, unemployed and known to everyone as SP, even though no one remembers his actual name.

And yet, he’s still not as sad as some c*** that spends his Saturday night posting stuff like this on rivals’ message boards.

Your on the wrong forum

Wilder puzzles me.

Said it before on here that he had us playing the best football I have ever seen at the lane when we were going through the championship an into the prem.

This team is very different but the results are better.

I am puzzled because he knows shit loads more than me.

If I was a betting man, I would bet that he knows shit loads more than sausage roll also.

Great result today 👏

I think playing style is down to a couple of things. One being the fact that we're not a well balanced team at present and also we're really inexperienced in some areas.

Also,.if you recall when we went up to the Prem the first time under him. We played amazing football, but often we were way to open and ended up giving unnecessary goals away which cost us. He tightened us up massively in the second half of the season, the football wasn't as good, but we saw games out which we were drawing and losing before.

People forget that Wilder got fuck all from McCabe and the Prince. At a similar time Middlesbrough spent 16 million on Asambalonga, Pigs bought Rhodes for 10, Leeds bought Bamford etc. Derby were splashing the cash. Villa were spending stupid amounts: And we got promoted, deservedly.

Just because he got a bit too big for his boots on Covid, people think he’s just some thick, mardy Yorkshire lad playing industrious football. Put some fucking respect on the name. Every signing this season, bar a utility reserve has been fantastic for us, we haven’t the wage bill of clubs like Leeds and Burnley and we’ve won the most games.

I’m happy you have waken up from your coma mate but it’s January 18th not April 1st

The guy had one very successful season in the Prem. One very unsuccessful one hampered by injuries, COVID, and a small budget. And one half a season with a side that nobody could've rescued.

If it turns out we're sat on an obscene amount of cash at some point then we can talk about upgrading then.
