I understand it perfectly well thanks very much....what I don't understand is why, if it was being discussed on another thread you couldn't articulate your point in there.....instead you felt the need to start a brand new one just to bring more attention to something you feel is totally irrelevant.....totally defeats the object....unless you fail to understand irony...

I never understand this history of human rights misdemeanours

luckily we in Britain never harmed any Indians whilst ruling there, except the odd isolated massacre
We rarely took part in slavery apart from the odd couple of hundred years
backing apartheid in africa , mau mau uprising crushing
irish potato famine
child poverty in the industrial revolution sending kids down mines and sewers and up chimneys
forcing single women in the sixties to give up babies

and we are civilised

I thought about putting you even slightly right there, but then I thought why bother?
As to the KSA - yep they do things differently and some would say bad - but its all cultural relativity innit

of course they do things we find repulsive , but thats different cultures for you
but for some to accuse countries of taking advantages of others with our history is a bit pot kettleish

yes we are by comparison enlightened now , in fact going a bit too far in some things
but we are probably in my mind ahead of america in that we dont love a gun culture
the right to bear arms is the most self destructive thing in the world as there death rate shows


the whole world has an array of good bad and extreme nutters

Saudis are no where near the worst
