Seems most think it crazy it is Sunday. If this comes out as a big majority for Saturday then could a protest be set up like when the FA wanted to go to that west Yorks shit hole all those years ago? I remember all local media giving out the Fax and phone numbers of the FA and Fan power triumphed. Get our media and east Yorkshire media involved it could happen again?

I'm not bothered I just wanna go to Wembley, stop shouting :(

It'll change nothing. The Arse v the holders on the Saturday, and the fishy smelling scrubbers v Plucky Sheffield United, League 1 Underdogs on the crappy day. The FA and ITV won't want us on prime time Saturday telly.

Don't you dare my flight doesn't land until Saturday at 15.20:rolleyes:

True, SV. I was pissed offf when I heard the KO but it's only an hour difference. Train ticket booked!

Dont change it now just booked Sat and Sun night in Watford hotel.

Anybody else doing same?

Was tempted but the Watford Travel Lodge was so expensive that I presumed demand was way ahead of supply for that part of the world. Plus a return train from Sheffield to St Pancras was a crazily cheap £14, so I went for a London hotel and figured the savings on petrol justified it.

Just glad to have it sorted - it's a proper pain the 'arris.

Nipper is due at end of March and have been told in no uncertain terms I am not going! This news will hopefully prove the myth that I am the Wembley jinx!! :)

Got everything sorted now so best not change it. I'm happy with Sunday if I am honest

Couldn't go if it's on the Saturday so I was chuffed to bits earlier.

4pm on a Sunday is fine, you might get home a little bit late but you'd be getting home later on the Saturday. Also it's half term so the kids will be off Monday and therefore can have a lie in.

I feel like you're whinging for the sake of whinging.

I doubt you'd please everyone for this.

I'm surprised that our game isn't on itv though. But then again itv probably wanted arsenal rather than two unfashionable sides

I'm glad we're not on ITV. I'm still pissed off at Adrian Chiles talking shit about us at the Fulham game. His face looks like a pie someone sat on.

Did he ever actually pay up the fivers?

If we do get to the final you can guarantee they'll replay that clip

Get yourself there, she won't leave you, not with a new baby to look after ! ;)

Is Sunday 4pm really THAT bad...??? I mean, Tuesday at 04:30am I could understand, but....???

Yeah, it's fair enough. Obviously Saturday is the "Headlining" fixture, but Sunday at 4pm is sound. You could set off at a reasonable time from Sheffield and get home after the game well before midnight. Bloody whingers.

What's the big deal with it being on Sunday? It's still the weekend and it's a reasonable time of day to have a kick off.

Alternatively stumble out of a boozer at 7am with a couple of landan birds on your arms, text your boss to call in sick using your 1% battery power...

My lovely daughter in law is forecast to drop her first born, our first grandchild on semi final day I have done a deal with Mrs S that I will be attentive and hover about in the back ground. PROVIDED that I go to the final. Done deal. bring it on.

Not a problem to me !
Drive down to my daughters in Leighton Buzzard - Overground train direct to Wembley - Train back and stay night in Leighton Buzzard - Drive back home Monday after hearty breakfast - Sorted !

does anyone remember what side of Wembley we were in the previous times? As we have been allocated the WEST Side this time

:tumbleweed:
Its all been written elsewhere.

Semi against pigs WEST. play off Palace EAST. play off Burnley EAST. play off Udders EAST.
No, the stadium was not build 90 degrees round from the original. It still runs EAST TO WEST OR WEST TO EAST. However you want to say it.
