Arise Sir Tufty
I've been watching past derby games on youtube to get my fix - even the boxing day '79, I was there in the Lepper's Lane.
Back in 2001 derby game at Hillsboro I got a call from a Wendy mate who had a spare ticket in the south stand as his Mrs couldn't make it. There's a small block of about 12 seats right at the end of the stand where we sat, opposite me were many Blades in the north stand
After 70 minutes Asaba scored with a deft header that seemed to go in slow motion past Pressman's finger tips, a Blade in the next block jumped up and was dragged out by stewards, he got a couple of kicks and punches on the way - there were also a couple of boxes full of Blades at the back which drove the Wendy fans mad.
As for me the urge to go mad was hard to deal with but have to say that I bottled it - a sit on your hands moment
We won 2-1 BTW
