Outgoing? SANDER BERGE ON WAY OUT ?

I really don't see the attraction of signing for either Spurs, Everton or Arsenal other than the ££££s. None of these sides look particularly likely to break into the top 4 (Champions League). None of them have particularly brilliant managers or players. Surely if you are Berge and looking for a top European club you need to be playing for Man U; Liverpool; Man City; or Chelsea. Or even maybe an up and coming challenger like Leicester or Villa. But not perennial deadwood/makeweights. Spurs get an injury to Son and lose Kane they could even get caught up in a relegation dogfight. Everton and Arsenal churn out pretty turgid defensive fare and have boring managers at either end of their careers.
All those clubs get him closer to a move to the top 4. We keep him a mile off as the CL won’t come in for him even if he rips up the Championship.

I would be saying to my agent this isn’t good this. I might need to leave.

Can't see anyone triggering his release clause to be honest. We would be fools to accept a derisory offer, but would he force the issue? Prior to Saturday I thought his best bet was to knuckle down and start excelling in the Championship and he would be back in the EPL with us or with another club at the end of the year for a hefty sum. After that inept team performance he may well consider that his chances are slim if he stay with us beyond this window.

It's like me talking the media that I am interested in bidding for a night of passion with Jennifer Lawrence by offering her a steak dinner, a bottle of blue nun, and the services of my 2 inch cock.

I'm interested but not sure its gunna be enough. Might chuck in a 5 minute spin of a Barry the walruss of love White LP to sweeten the deal.
Has she rung you yet to fix a date ? Blue nun has to be the clincher

He could move on in January if things are not going to his plan.

Edit. Read the posts after.

Everton have reportedly joined the race to sign Arsenal target Sander Berge and are monitoring his contract situation at Sheffield United.

According to a report from Transfer Market Web, Everton are the latest party to have enquired Sheffield United on the transfer prospect of their 23-year-old midfielder Sander Berge, with Arsenal and Napoli among the other clubs to have registered their interest in the Norwegian sensation.

Does anyone read past “a report from Transfer Market Web”? Seriously?

His price is £35m and no one is paying it. He will move on in January if we’re not doing well.

If Everton's interest is anything like Napoli's, we can expect a bid of a half used coupon book and a Timmy Mallet novelty mug.

Everton’s business has been pretty frugal thus far after splurging during the last few years. Seems like they’re in a situation where they’d probably need to move a few earners on to make space for him.

Don’t want Berge to go, but accept he probably will as he’s a prem league player

However, if it’s needs must, then hopefully the rumours are true that not only @rse, but Spurs and Everton, even Villa rumoured can only be a good thing as the price will rise

He's got a release clause of 35m. He goes when one team offers that imo.

i think we would sell for slightly less but yes your right hold on for the full 35m and if we are selling ramsdale it gives us a bit of leeway to hold out for the full 35m
