Played well at the start of the season. And Blackpool away. Gets grief for not doing things that aren't his job. Hope he plays well bc we need him.
Name the games he played well in. I'll give you Peterborough away. He was shit at Blackpool in a sea of piss. Other than that he has been one of the worst strikers we have seen at the lane in years yet you defend him. What the fuck do you imagine that the rest of us actually see?

He's put a video up from the Blackpool game showing ten seconds of Sammon doing what he's paid to do, as "evidence" of him "playing well".

The critique of Adkins summary should be interesting.

Was that a fucking joke?

No. Insurance. I have absolutely no idea why he should be brought back into a side which was starting to gel when he has shown absolutely no indication of looking like anything other than a Sunday footballer after a night on the piss. Insurance in the sense that whenever I bet on something happening with the Blades (e.g. Sammon fucking up the balance of the team and we are going to lose), fate tends to hit me in the chops with a wet halibut and the cunt will score and make me look a chuff. Looks like Sammon is the only elemental force of nature that can disturb that rule by his very crapness.

Oh and WHF. Pleeeeeeeeeeeze. Honestly what do you see in him?

He gets grief because he is fucking rubbish. Please stop over complicating this.:)

I think if we go in for him in the summer it will finish me off.

UTB
Lets be clear. People who give it" he brings that he brings this" for Sammon or Porter before are wrong. They are total wage thieves .

Sorry but I can't think of one improvement that this manager has brought to the team, the only thing I can think of in favour of keeping him is that the guy who chose him will be the same guy who picks the next one !!!!.
surely by the law of averages alone....
then again..

According to the beeb, 2 shots in the entire match. Not 2 shots on target (though it says that too)... 2... shots.

Feck me. I've been to games where the goalie has had 2 shots from goal kicks before now! Did we really only have 2 goal attempts in 90+ minutes???

I wonder if he has been given or stolen some of hammonds unseen work?

If they are now sharing it, then Sammon is probably playing really really well without us noticing it.

We don't need Sammon ....... what we need ( and have needed for about 4 years ) is a big strong pacey striker who CAN actually score goals !!!

Regrettably .... we have Sammon ...... but thank goodness this season is nearly finished.

Its been effectively over since the end of October. Again !! :(

Can't believe how true that statement is.

"Connor Salmon was getting some good knock ons and was giving Webster as tough a test as he has faced all season but he was up to the task."

See Roy's View From for details.

Unsettled their CH a couple of times and we got good possession.

Note to Caveman Keith: this wasn't by aimlessly heading the ball on - it was by challenging for possession, sometimes "losing" it, but being enough of a nuisance that the header was not controlled and we picked up second ball in advanced positions. Something we are generally very poor at. Did this a few times.

First half chased down a ball on the right and won possession: if Done had done this it would be all about how great he is.

Early on second half won a good free kick about twenty five yards out on our left.

Won more decent possession, laid it off, and then got dogs abuse for not being on the end of the cross.

He does plenty right. He does a few things wrong eg misplaced one pass in a dangerous area in particular that was really frustrating - though again it came after his own good work.

If you look for what he's done wrong then you'll have plenty to go at. And plenty are having a go.

Why does this feel like all the McEveley isn't shit posts from October/November time?

"Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm."

Not a quote from Adkins or WHF but you could be forgiven for thinking it was.

In a way I am rather envious of the world you live in, it certainly seems a happier sunnier place than the real one the rest of us are suffering in.

If the misplaced pass is the one I'm thinking of he tried a three yard pass to Done and passed it two yards straight to a defender. It was laughable.
