Sammon returns to the starting line up today. Not been impressive for us, but maybe we need a bit more strength up front at Millwall?

Why? Why? Why?
Woe Woe and thrice Woe!
Cue egg on face double from the resurgent fish.

Thinking the same, not been inspiring to say the least but he can be a useful player in some games.

Lot....GOING...UP!!!!!!!!

Only coming back down if we win ..

Something to divert the fan's boos away from Adkins when we're inevitably two down at the break?

Long

Baptiste Edgar Basham

Brayford Flynn Hammond Cuvelier Done

Sammon Sharp

There you go, that's the team. Saves you the minute or two it takes to work it out. Because nobody can ever, ever post the line up in positional order. Just numerical order.

Got a feeling it might work today.

Would rather have McEveley in defence than Edgar though.

Is that the diamond still? Is that 3 at the back with two wingbacks?

Rather than being gutted at this, I hope he (Sammon) plays like he did at the start of the season. Him and Billy looked like they could forge a decent partnership. For some reason, it all went tits up for Conor along the way. Here's hoping it comes good again.

I can only assume there is something buried in the contract with Derby that Sammon has to play a certain number of games or we pay a penalty clause and we have been forced into this.

In footballing terms it makes literally no sense.

I don't see why they would, clauses like that would generally only be of benefit to players coming back from injury or for younger players going on loan for experience. Derby just realised he was shite, loaned him out and forgot about him.

Reckon Adkins just thought it would be a more physical game today. Still wonder why he felt the need to change a team that won 3-0 last week...

Perhaps an away game is what he needs to build up his confidence again as the crowd were getting on his back.

This is arguably one of our biggest games of the season. Win it and we're 4 points behind 5th placed Millwall. Lose it and its our season over...........So he puts fucking Sammon in?

Mebbe Millwall are Young and fit and are going to get stuck in early doors...bring Adams on when they've run out a bit and a few yellow cards have been dished out..( and Hammond sent off ;) )

Surely it would've been much better to have a defence of Basham Baptiste McEveley. Better balance, better player in the centre.

Agree with this. We can't get rid of him so need him to get back to the guy he was who first joined us.

If only Adkins had thought o that.

He will have a decent game today. Followed by a few posters saying "this is what he brings to the team". He then starts the next game and goes back to being s**t.

He must be another player who does "great unseen work".

Well, it's shit or bust unless we win today the season is over. A day nearer sending him back.

Surely by now you lot must have figured out that he picks his team with one of this little lottery/bingo ball machines you can get in argos?

Played well at the start of the season. And Blackpool away. Gets grief for not doing things that aren't his job. Hope he plays well bc we need him.

I'd honestly rather it didn't. A run of form until the end of the season might see up bid fir another overpriced lump of meat.

He gets grief because he is fucking rubbish. Please stop over complicating this.:)

I think if we go in for him in the summer it will finish me off.
