Seems to be having an "Akpom season" where virtually every shot ends up in the net. BBC reporting that Blackburn want "up to £20m" for him which puts him way out of our reach.

£20m at his age is a no go for pretty much everyone.

He is a good player and will most likely score again next season. But at that price it’s someone desperate for promotion willing to risk it all.

Lovely player. Think he might do ok in the Prem actually. But a luxury we certainly can’t afford. Even he’s available at 10m (and we have that much) our money is better spent elsewhere.
 
Another bonkers rumour.

Blades to sign 15m player with no resale value come end of contract, who will want the biggest contract of his career and who may be a one season wonder.

I can’t think of a less likely signing.

Oh wait, I can. Blades to lavish 8m on goalkeeper after relegation, having been closely linked to another local keeper costing around a tenth of this figure and under a manager who has been happy to have a loan keeper for 2/2 of his Championship seasons in charge.

They must think the readers are plain daft!
 
He's not worth it. A player fast approaching the end of his career, who has just come off the back of a season which for him, is a statistical anomaly in terms of his overall goal involvements. Investing that much money in a lad who is highly likely to not provide any significant return on said investment isn't something we should be doing.
 
Chuba akpom of last season, just had a one off. Don’t think he scores goals in the prem.

Hell go to Ipswich or maybe Leeds if he's gonna go anywhere as Leeds have some money to spend again.

He'll go Leeds now. The Rutter deal will force their hand and they'll now meet Blackburns ridiculous asking price
