More good news... or maybe not!!
Watching Southampton now and WardProwse’s delivery is exceptional! There’s not a cat in hells chance our defence will cope with it the way they are playing right now. I shit myself every time the ball went into our box yesterday! This stuff from WP is on a different level to that!

He's incredible, but looking back at yesterday's game we should've won 4-1 so hopefully we get over this mental block and push on.
I still can’t believe we didn’t score... and for me we could’ve won that game comfortably!
But I do fear for our defence... it’s a shadow of its former self. Teams don’t really have to do much to get a goal

Southampton are actually a quality side, I can honestly see them scoring 4/5 goals against us, they might not be great at the back but they’re unbelievable going forward.

We've got no chance against Southampton.

They've got good players so it's inevitable they will score against us which makes it almost impossible for us to pick up a result.

I've got a feeling they'll beat us 3-0.

Can't see us getting anything against Man Utd or Leicester with the quality they have either.

Think it's Brighton & Everton after that...

It would be so nice just to score .... if you canna score ya canna win!

And I had Lamb tikka Noni for tea ,but thats not the point either.

I think it is, Sitters. Let me explain:

Norwood has been habitually squandering dead ball opportunities for some time now. For someone with such sweet feet, the last time he hit a Sheffield United player's head and we capitalised on it was in July when his corner went across the box at the right height and velocity for John Egan to power home versus Wolves. Since then, countless corners have been booted at the front defender at the near post. So much so, that if you watch, most oppositions position a defender on the front stick when he takes a corner just for that. He can't get enough height, accuracy and velocity on it to clear that first man.

Now this wouldn't matter so much if we had three wins and two draws on the cards so far this season. But as we've seen, goalscoring opportunities are bit of a premium, and one of the more prolific chances in the modern game is in fact, the dead ball cross. As it was yesterday with his free kick, I'd just stick someone twenty yards from the ball (like the apex of the area) because sure as god made little green apples, that free kick isn't going into the heading zone for a first-or-second-ball attempt on goal, is it?

So there's a lot of point in the fact that goalscoring opportunities are wasted when you're not scoring any goals. Had we killed WBA off yesterday, any comments on Norwood's deadball situational shitness might be deemed irrelevant, but being as we scored zero ... and lost, any delivery problems we have need looking at. Especially as it's he who is detailed off to take free kicks and corners. And he's shit at it. Fortunately, Man U have other avenues of scoring goals too. We haven't.

Can’t believe we didn’t score??? Should have won comfortably? What is this madness?

The corner McBurnie headed straight down in the first half yesterday didnt happen then. Thats just one off the top of my head. He only takes corners from one side and he odd free kick ,how good it was to see Fleckys free kick sail in yesterday and those corners from Flecky and Lunny in the onion bag.
Maybe Berge could take them as he is no threat whatsoever in the middle unless hes laying it off for the oppo attack.
