Just remember where we were after 4 games last season - bottom.

It's a long season, solid fans like yourself will cheer your team on to a decent finish this season. Keep the faith!

Turned down 700 thousand according to Phil Brown, playing well , wonder whether we’ll be back in for him in January :):)

Remember the main reason most wanted him, and why we thought he'd be useful?

Something along the lines of 'in this league we'll be under the cosh a lot more, so will need a midfielder like him to add a bit of athleticism to shore things up.'

Not saying he wouldn't be a useful addition, but the need for a player like him doesn't appear to be as pressing as it seemed before a ball was kicked.

I think he's more mobile and attack minded that Lundstram. I think C/A/P' first thoughts of getting him remain valid.

The question we need to be asking about any potential signing now is are they good enough to help us win promotion. Over the summer it was more can they help us consolidate. I'll leave it to Wilder and Knill as they know more than the rest of us put together!

The first signings for me would be Blackman and CCV on permanents !

The recovery tackle he made in the first half and then the goal he scored are worth a look. He was great all game, the rest of the team didn't follow his example, sadly. Mind you, your results suggest you don't need any new players.

You may be right Rootsy. If this form continues into January, young Lenny may have missed the boat. He'll be dead chuffed with RugRon, if he isn't already.

As you say, good recovery tackle and the goal was well taken.....but.....as you so rightly point out, when you look at where we are now, and where your lot are, Leonard wouldn't be human if he didn't reflect on what could have been. Playing for the Blades, earning more than he currently does, a possibility of being part of a Premiership team, or at least part of an evolving Championship club whose manager is top notch and will take a decent player and turn them into an outstanding player. Anyone who saw us humiliate our near neighbours (they're the club that spent £10 million on a forward who refused to take a penalty in a play-off game, turns out he's vastly overrated and wouldn't get into our team) will have seen a team full of desire, with a midfield about as good as you'll see at this level. Would Lenny be able to make his way into our midfield? Who knows...what we do know is that we're going places, bet you wish your club, with your underwhelming chairman, could say the same.

Saw your manager on Channel 5, said some very pleasant things about our manager, and rightly so, he's different class. As for Leonard, has that moment passed, will Lenny stay in Division 1? Time will tell. Short things are player's careers, and they sometimes need to take a risk and not allow promises of what might be to beguile them. It looks like two of your division's automatic promotion places are already spoken for, I bet you're wondering if you'll make that third place your own.......we'll see.

Brown gambled on experience and quality to take us forward this year. He didn't reckon on more players being in the physio room than on the pitch, but that is always a risk with bringing in older players. Unless we have a fabulous run of wins between now and January which puts us in the mix, then Ron will probably cash in on a acceptable offer from a higher division club. OF course Lenny wouldn't walk into your side, but he would be a pretty good addition to the squad if Wilder still fancied bringing him in. if his moment has passed with you then I reckon Millwall will be back.

Casualties are the curse of every club, so no comeback there. Whether Ronaldo will get a fee anywhere close to the one Wilder offered, well I think it's unlikely. With a bit of luck Millwall will still be a Championship club if Lenny is destined to go there. Of course, if Wilder decides to return for Lenny my advice to the lad would be to jump at the chance double quick, it'll be the best career move he'll ever make.
