He's not immune to my wrath B58 he has made one or two errors in the transfer market before (you all know who they were) i suppose they were just gambles, ive a feeling this Leonard could be just another Lundstram type, and yes i'm not a Lundstram fan.

When i think we could probably get two Oztumer's for the price of one Leonard or Lundstram.
Maybe you will be shortly

I see Leonard starts today for Southend. Not sure if that means anything re our transfer.

Yep, he started and delivered the sort of performance that still has Wilder wanting him. I don't know how he will fit into your team, but he was awesome today for us. I must admit that I was surprised that he started if all the rumours are true, we will see it he is playing on Saturday.

Ooops, forgot to say a belated Happy Xmas to you all. New Years greeting will be forthcoming when you've stumped up £1 mil for Lenny. (Only joking).:)

Cheers, you too. When you say you struggle to see where he'll fit in, where does he play, what is his role? If you don't already know, we play with two centre mids and an advanced centre mid - Duffy. The two central guys are generally defensive and all rounders, still capable of attacking but not like Duffy who is the creater. My guess is that Leonard would compete for the two central roles, currently occupied by Lundstram and Basham, but more likely to be Fleck and Lundstram when Fleck returns.

Len's a central midfielder. He generally plays as a defensive mid in front of the back four. He's little over 6 ft and very strong in the air and in the tackle. Seldom beaten for pace and one of the quickest in our squad.

Are you still here....

Would you describe him as a 'proper footballer' who can pass it and retain the ball under pressure as well?

Lund stream is a class player...good vision, reads the game well, can out his foot in and now scoring...mobility impr9ving with confidence, looks a great buy

I wasn't too sure whether I was on the end of a urine extraction post or not. It does happen on here sometimes.

No I wasn't taking the waz. It's just that I can think of a few midfielders that have graced the Bramall Lane pitch for the majority of their careers, who fit exactly in your description of being athletic and strong tackling... but couldn't pass water.

Ok, I had to check it out. Leonard's passing is ok but he would definitely benefit from being a part of your squad in training and delivering the goods consistently in the Championship. He has no problems retaining possession in FL1 and I doubt he would come up short of he mark with you guys.

Certainly does mate, especially considering the pressure he was under with some fans wanting him to be Coutts Mark 2 from day one.

He still makes the odd loose pass and I’m not a fan of him keeping on trying that long high ball to the right wing which usually turns possession into a 50/50, but overall he’s improved way beyond my expectations at this stage and has been excellent in the last two games. Reminded me a bit of Coady today the way he played yesterday and he will only get better with more games at this level, he’s still only played a handful.

Let's not forget he's been playing in a team which has, for one reason or another, been misfiring since he came into the side. I hope the victory yesterday boosts the team and he can enjoy a run in the same sort of environment that Coutts had. As far as I remember Coady was pants until the team as a whole got a run together, then he was awesome.

Lets not get ahead ourselves here.

Dean Hammond would have looked good against that shower of shite yesterday.

Like ive said in another thread i'll go with the gaffers comments about Lundy yesterday.
