Young Liverpool winger. My scouse mate who used to work at their academy reckons we are one of several clubs who are wanting to take him on loan.
Recent reports have linked him with Championship clubs though so don't know how much chance we will have of landing him but thought i would share!

Leftie or rightie?

See us being interested if he's on the right due to Done, Flynnaldo and JCR injuries

This fella?

Hopefully Adkins can convince the lad (and Liverpool) that he is better off being part of a promotion charge here in front of 20k fans rather than a relegation struggle in front of 5k plastic fans or however many they get

Only making the bench for Coventry. He's got a daft haircut and seems the sort to stare endlessly in a mirror but can play on both wings and has a confidence and trickery about him. He seems to have a few issues making decisions to pass but the kind of player who can make something happen. He's on loan from Liverpool which I guess is up next month and they might not be too happy that he's not starting games. Thoughts?

That's the problem for Coventry which Sky highlighted today. They have a number of loan players they could easily lose before the end of the season.

He seems like a decent flair player and worth looking at if he is going back to Liverpool in January.

Had a look on a Liverpool forum and his brother, Clark, is apparently better. We should go for him - super player.

Armstrong will go back to Newcastle and then prob to a champ club

can't see it myself. He's flourishing at Coventry and will struggle to start at a good passing championship club. No reason not to leave him there until the end of the season. They aren't looking to sell him and he's having a great spell.

on the telly now, looks a decent player, seems like the sort of confident player we could do with.

maybe iv not seen many games from the current lads but from what iv seen and been reading our midfielders dont seem to be very confident players , taking the easy options.i was at the peterborough game (i didnt think we played too bad) but i thougjt other then the obvious problem (defence) i feel we lack players with a level of cockyness even arrogance that alot of promotion teams have.i like the look of kent but iv not seen enough to say him but someone like that in midfield would suit me.

Callum Harriott's loan at Colchester also ends in Jan, 7 goals for them in all comps aswell as 7 league assists. Left-footed winger with PACE. Also missed an open goal when we beat Charlton 2-0.

Have a like for this suggestion

I know he's not a striker but 1 goal in 17 games in league 1 is hardly good enough for an attacking winger either is it?

Aren't most of those as a sub? He's not amazing by any means but he offers us something we don't have.

Shame we don't have an attacking left winger that scores a few and assists a few. Bit like that Murphey lad at Brighton. Ang on......"

This mornings rag suggests Liverpool aren't happy with his lack of progress at Freiburg and may loan him to an English club instead, where Boro. Leeds and Blades are interested

(That's The Sun btw)

He's up there with the very best loans we could get but I think we'd be behind Boro, Leeds and others in the queue because unlike them we don't play a system that naturally accommodates him.
