I have read and reread both of my answers to your posts and can't see anywhere where I even remotely suggest that I accept mediocrity. That is a different discussion entirely.

What I have done is dare to disagree with you about whether or not our form of late has been shocking. You think it is. I don't think it is and have explained why I don't think it is.

For some reason you have taken exception to this.

I would say that the recent form of Leeds United, Sunderland, Sheffield Wednesday and Reading has been shocking. Ours has been no more nor less than average.

It's only an opinion based on how I see the facts, but I thought that the idea of a forum was that people could express different opinions and discuss them.

My apologies, but to me the main point that came over was that we were in shocking form of Wednesdayesque proportions. I felt that was a bit of an exaggeration and not a fair assessment of how results had actually gone. That's why I replied. I genuinely did not intend to cause offence.

We weren’t winning the game or losing the game when Fleck got sent off and Wilder decided to go gung-ho in the last 15 minutes or so, something which I have no problem at all with and if we’d have taken this approach more often in recent months I have no doubt in my mind that we’d have taken more points than we have.

Wilder was put under pressure and scrutiny since this game and I think he changed his ways slightly to appease the boring twats in life. We got to the top of the league by being fearless, for me this should’ve continued and Fleck getting sent off won’t have stopped us from going up, if you want to think that then think of the points he’s helped us win like the twats next to the park.

We still have a great chance of promotion whilst the twats next to the park are playing to stay in 17th, that’ll do for starters.

Lot of winnable games there. The Fulham and Bristol stand out as the toughest, while boro at home will also be very tough.

For us to have a chance of getting top 6 reckon we need to get around 21 points

Does seem slightly ambitious given that we’re playing PNE, Boro and Cardiff and you have us down as losing none of them. Also have us getting a point at Brentford. Would be delighted with all four of them results.

No there will not be an epic end to the season! Calm down! 11 to play & based on the past 18 games I think we will win 4 and scrape 70 points. As we are fading others are moving into top gear, so I think 8 or 9th is where we will finish------------ So no epic end, but a good season regardless!

Home games - average placing = 10.83
Away games - average placing = 14.40

Some challenging games but we only face two top 6 teams and they are both at home.

We also have 6 out of the remaining 11 games at BDTBL as well. Boro at home looks a key fixture though you could argue they all are.

Nothing to fear in any of our away games. Brentford could be the toughest. We head to a Bristol team that we outplayed until going down to 10 men when we also hit the woodwork 4 times. That won't happen again.

Cardiff aside, the real mountainous challenges are behind us. We don't face anyone we haven't competed well with already.

Still time for Brooks to make his mark and for Clarke to recapture some form for the run in. A week and a half for the latter may have been what he needed.

Derby's form is patchy, Bristol likewise and who now are without their talisman for 3 matches.

Time to pull together now, make BDTBL a fortress for the final 6 home games and put in a few Reading like performances and strap in for the ride!

It's not beyond Wilder and his players to get us into the end of season mix. I can't help but feel the above all look like losing semi-finalists vs the top 4 teams, but you never know.
