Listening to RS Football Heaven tonight it appears that the commentary for the derby game on Sunday over the web will be unrestricted so we should all be able to hear it regardless of where you live. Is this correct?

I hope so. The game is on 5live Sports Extra but would rather have Radio Sheffield's version of events!

Blades Player Subscription

Blades Player - Too Stingey to Pay Twice.
I must still be a tight Yorkshireman even though I have been away for 26 years or more as I cannot bring myslef to subscribe to a service that I feel should be inclusive.

I pay my license fee but just because I want to listen to RS instead of Brum or Cov/Warwks over the internet at 15:00 on a Saturday afternoon or a weekday evening some greedy football mercenary is forcing me to pay again for something that Sheffiled/South Yorkshire people get by right. This does not sit well with me.

I'll bet they don't make much money out of it anyway - what is it £40 a year for what 1000 or 2000 subscribers worldwide? Approx £80k less costs (£10-15k pa) might pay for a months wages for Naysmith. Actually come to think of it it might pay for the whole YTS back four next year!
Nah, F**k it - they have had the Blades Revival (Super Draw) money every year since 1981. Sod 'em the theiving bartards.
