Fuck off United. Jesus Christ.

Awful. Gave it away more in that game than I've seen us give it away all season.

Freeman, needs a rest.

Johnson, what are you doing? It'll be a long time before he gets on again after that.

Didn't pay any respect to Rotherham and dropped points because of it, our players looked like they couldn't imagine any other possibility than the ball landing at their feet.

Fair play Rotherham, made us look like the strugglers.

We looked unfit and uninterested. Needs sorting. Would a pacy striker have helped today? Debatable. An all round shocking performance.

A poor game, both goals completely against the run of play and if it wasn't for Henderson we'd have been hammered. If we were intending to never push the fullbacks forward, Baldock should have started. Going negative to protect what we've got never works, the only way we tend to see out games successfully is by retaining the ball.

Well done Marvellous Marvin Johnson. Mcgoldrick was shit, Fleck was shit. Wheels fall off in November??

Look, we have to trust Chrissy but IMO he is perhaps the architect of his own downfall in this match by leaving Freeman on. I am a fan of his but today he is way off the pace whatever the reason.

I realise the Freeman Is Awful point will suit a particular narrative today, but he alone is not the reason for that awful performance – as poor a set of performances from Fleck and Norwood that I can remember, and plenty of others didn’t turn up. The 2nd goal was a collection of totally-avoidable errors.

Taught a lesson by Rotherham today. only one team had the spirit, drive and energy to attempt to win it in the 2nd half - well played them

reminded me of the Hull away game last season

Not used to a performance like that from us. Not to take anything away from Rotherham but they didn't particularly stop us from playing either, we were full of avoidable mistakes all over the pitch.
A lot to thank Hendo for, wouldn't like to be on the end of what they're getting in the dressing room.

Freeman clearly having an absolute shocker yet we played everything down the right.

Stevens hardly touched it.

Johnson obviously hasn't been paying attention to the games while he's been sat on the bench because he completely forgot we're a passing/possession side, though based on today we're not.

Deano and Duffy can go home, everyone else gets a boot up the arse from Wilder. Johnson gets one from Knill too.

And then Wilder goes to bed with no supper for going defensive WHEN WE CANT FUCKING DEFEND

How obvious does it need to be. I'm going to rent a plane and fly a big banner over the next home game "Chris, don't rely on defending a one goal lead, we're shithouse".

Freeman deserved some singling out as his passing today was the worst we've seen from anyone in years, and that's not an exaggeration. Not since Matt Hill was with us have I seen so many passes from one player go astray. He looks off the pace as well.

Fleck and Norwood were also very poor by their standards.

As well as Hendo and Duffy I thought Sharp did ok in difficult circumstances too. Stevens also had his moments. They rest? Shaky at best and awful at worst

Fleck and Norwood were also very poor by their standards.

Not by their standards – they were objectively poor in general.

Freeman was undeniably poor, but I personally thought he marginally improved in the 2nd half – one one-two with Duffy for example that resulted in a near-post cross put out for a corner (there was none of that first half). Henderson and Egan apart, all of those that went away on international duty were either poor or had other poor moments. Basham and JOC did not have that excuse though, nor would I say it was a legitimate excuse.

Our second goal was lucky.

Freeman inadvertently headed the ball backwards away from Rotherham's goal into Basham's face.

Neither of them knew anything about it.

He could have put a Rotherham shirt on. Thats how poor he was.

Poorest we've been since Boro for me...Our ball retention was poor, and we didn't move it quick enough..we played into their hands giving the ball away, giving needless Free Kicks away...they wanted it more.
Hendo MoM for us..great goal by Duffy..I thought Billy did ok,and Leon won a few headers and put himself about.
Joke defending for the late leveller.

The way I saw it was, Basham was trying to mount Freeman when the ball suddenly came across and bounced off the back of Freeman’s head and smacked Basham in the face and went in. That put a stop to his caper! Disgusting!

I said on the “Freeman v Baldock” thread that I’d have dropped Freeman ages ago. Few agreed. Maybe a few more will agree now? He’s been poor for several games now.

But, most were poor today. Hendo was the only one who can be proud of his performance.
