Its another waste of an article by Football League world. Somebody on their site thinks he's a good shout but there is no mention of interest although this isn't the first time he's been mentioned with respect to us. He's only just joined Pompey who re top of the league of course so I think they'd demand a lot and I think I'd rather someone who plays in the position that he'll be competing for which is in the Duffy role. We need someone as good as Duffy; someone who can unlock a defence like Duffy does. I'd fear that someone like Curtis would try running at the opposition defence and with the step up in standard get tackled.

I've not seen the lad play granted, but I can't see Wilder going in for him. Wilder seems less keen on League One players these days. I could see us going for Maddison if we were going to delve into League One because Maddison has done well for many seasons now and has wanted a move.

I have a sneaky feeling this is one of the players Wilder really wants but is waiting on Pompey to bring someone in. He’d be a very useful addition too depending on what the fee would be.

Jamal Lowe would be the one I look at from Pompey.

All the makings of a player who might do really well for us. Huddersfield took a similar punt on Karlan Grant who's impressed.

Would still like to go for him. Maybe not priority but we need one eye on the future too, maybe a short term loan to a lower Championship team and then reassess... i'm thinking could he join up with our Irish contingent and get some solid development under CW and the team?

Utd need to hedge some bets in the transfer market... snap up players before they get big, we can't be forking out £15m every time...
