They seem to play on opposite wings though.

You get my point though, he's actually very left footed. Yeah it's fantastic to cut in with when you play on the right, but it'd make him very capable on the left going on the outside too.
That said, Burrows could easily be our left winger or LWB.

A lot of what we have are flexible. I'm not sure Wilder wants out and out wingers still.

True we don't know, but v Huddersfield we were playing inverted wingers.

That's what most of the best teams do every week. e.g. You never see Saka on the left these days.

Wonder if it might have been one of those takeover dependent transfers, no takeover means we couldn't justify spending the money on Miller instead of using it somewhere else.

He was pretty disappointing during the Copa America; I'd read about our interest so paid attention to him when he played. Mostly used as a sub but didn't show anything which would cause me to be too sad that he's not signing for us.
