As good as £70 to sit at the back and nearly £140 for the good seats.

Mmm.

When I see you tonight,

On a (beautiful) downtown Bramall Lane.

I always used to be in the “You can’t keep a good song down” camp, until I heard this soulless, saccharine butchering of one of my favourite ever songs.

Tom Waits’ “Downtown Train” is a breathtaking, heartbreaking, lovelorn romance. Rod’s “Downtown Train” is just shite.

It's one of the only Rod Stewart tracks I like. :)

If you buy a rod ticket how many loyalty points.is there asking g for a.friend with 350

I prefer the old Jockneys rockier stuff to the slow shit he releases these days but he's got a great band with a few quality milfs playing, and Dave Palmer (formerly ABC) on the kit.

Well we are sailing towards the premier league. Although i talking to a guy a Hillsborough who was sure rod Stewart was perfroming there & he said i dont want to talk about it

But i was surprised that he no outdoor gigs in Scotland. I thought Celtic park was a shoo in for the finale

Pros - sang some decent songs 40 years ago

Cons - is an utter twat. Cockney bloke who pretends to be Scottish, gloryhunts Celtic and Man Utd, comes across as an arrogant cunt despite not having had a decent song out for over 3 decades and despite being 73 he was on TV the other week wearing no socks looking a right dickhead. And despite this he gets to go balls deep in some rate women.

I won't be going.
Must need a final pay day

When you have seen the Beatles. Stones. Who, Kinks etc. for relative peanuts in their early days (maybe one tenth or one twentieth of a weekly wage), I find it difficult to believe how much these multi-millionaires charge now, and I`m even more surprised that so many people pay these prices !

I guess it’s cheaper than buying a time machine and going back to 1964.

They make sod all on CD's etc these days. The only way to make money is by gigging. Total reverse of how it used to be.
Having said that, I won't/cant pay the stupid prices charged.

Yeah, in the eighties bands barely broke even touring and often made a loss, the tours were to promote albums, which made the money. Now, as you say, it’s the reverse, hence all the old bands hitting the road again.

Corporate tickets with 2 course meal start at £250 per ticket, so expensive, crazy money

Whatever musical genre you are ' in to ' , good is good and this is very good .... even if it does come from a prize jockney tit.
