First gig at the Lane since the Boss?

Nice for the club to be able to out this big event on.

Shame he can’t sing anymore but you can’t have everything.

A cockney jock - what a great combination:eek:

Perhaps more to the point it's going to be difficult hosting a concert like this with 500 hairy arsed workers crawling over everything building the new Kop ready for our triumphant return to the EPL....

Doubt the Hypocrite will live long enough to give us a pay day , lokking at the condition he is in , Penny Lancaster can come , she is a lovely bit of milf .

"Musical megastar Sir Rod Stewart has announced a huge outdoor show at Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane next summer – and here’s EVERYTHING you need to know.":-

What are the showtimes? The show times have yet to be announced – but the date is a Saturday, so it is likely to be lengthy affair kicking off earlier in the day.

Are there any support acts? No-one has been announced at this stage, but with a full UK tour of stadiums line-up, its certain that Sir Rod will no doubt have some company on stage when he comes to Sheffield.

What will he play? The shows are in support of the release of his 30th studio album Blood Red Roses, which debuted at number one on its release in September. Fans can expect to hear hits old and new – so expect classics such as Maggie May, Sailing, Da Ya Think I’m Sexy, Baby Jane and many more."

Thanks for the inside information Darren "Scoop" Burke.
Now I really do know EVERYTHING there is to know.

"Are Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Idris Elba filming Fast and Furious movie in Sheffield today?"

I don't know Darren, you tell me. You're the one earning a living as a newshound.
Has a proper reporter been despatched to go and find out?
Have you made a few calls to the movie company or maybe just local companies/witnesses at Sheffield Business Park?

Or are you just sat at your desk repeating rumours you've read on Facebook?

'You're Sheffield United but baby I've decided you're the best team I've ever seen'.

Saw him November 30th 1976 Birmingham Odeon. St Andrews day. Brilliant. Playing football on stage.

As a teenager, the women, the drinking and football I saw him as a role model.

Pros - sang some decent songs 40 years ago

Cons - is an utter twat. Cockney bloke who pretends to be Scottish, gloryhunts Celtic and Man Utd, comes across as an arrogant cunt despite not having had a decent song out for over 3 decades and despite being 73 he was on TV the other week wearing no socks looking a right dickhead. And despite this he gets to go balls deep in some rate women.

I won't be going.

Saw him twice as part of the Faces in the early 70's. Top gigs, top blokes.

Then Brit Ekland morphed him from blokes bloke to birds bloke, rock man to crooning cunt, performer to preening prat. One of the most diabolical transitions in rock history.

Imagine going from "Red lips hair and fingernails, I hear you're a mean old Jezebel" to "If you want my body and you think I'm sexy". Christ on a bike.

Do you get 500 loyalty points if you buy a ticket?:)

My firs gig at City Hall. December 22nd, 1972. Parents aloud me to west the incredibly cool jacket I was getting for Christmas. Probably wouldn't look so cool now.
