Hearing rumours Done has a broken wrist and Murphy needs late fitness test.3-0
Done's first hat-trick for the club... he doesn't celebrate any of them... but we fucking do.
That 5-2 win was ace. If we hadn't have made it easy for them by bringing on O'Halloran we'd have got 7 or 8.
I have a bad feeling about tonight. 1-0 to them.
Love going to grounds like Rochdale, half the crowd, good old fashioned stands, much better than the plastic stadiums you get these days.
Looking to keep up my 100% record there (in fact how many times have we played there), Sir Keith's winner in the mud in the Div 4 promotion season and the mental 5-2 three years ago where I thought we were destined to beat my record of 5 away goals in a game.
A lot will depend on whether our fitness worries turn out to be true, if not, I can only see us winning.
Are Rochdale the team against whom we have played most games and have a 100% record P5 W5?
In fact, is there any other team where we have a 100% record in the league?
We've only played York in one season, and we beat them both times - 4-0 and 4-3. Can't think of anyone else.
Northwich Victoria perhaps![]()
Maybe. I know we lost to Bootle that season....

We played with so much freedom and belief that night, I said at the time that was the kind of game we had in the Div 4 season where we knew we could score and win at will. Ched was on fire that night, little did we all know what was going to happen 10 days later (sorry, re-file in the Ched thread).
There was an exception to the freedom and belief: we were 5-2 up, and Ryan Flynn still wouldn't go round a full back. At one point he actually beat his man, checked and came back....

Pie quality more important than the result
Strange one that Chippy at Rochdale, I seem to recall the stewards on the turnstile would not allow anyone to enter who was carrying chips.Only if they have ordered MORE pies this time - they ran out before half time when we went a few years back. That was after the chippie outside had a massive queue.........was bloody hungry that night.
But yes take your point about pies on the red rose side of the Pennines - they at least do something good on that side. Better in Leigh though.

I can see it now, the BBC storming Rochdale's end and pricking the home fans with plastic forks
