Fucked Burnley up a couple of seasons ago.No doubt, I just get worried about squad depth with stuff like that.

We dont have the stength in depth to cope with Europe in my opinion. We all know Wilder will fuck the League Cup off again next season. The only reason we’ve had a go at the FA Cup is cos we were safe in the league.Joe Hart fucked Burnley up. He conceded 41 goals in 19 games. As soon as Heaton was back they went on a run.
Also they got knocked out at the end of August before reaching the first round proper, having played 6 games. Surely that can't be blamed for a bad season?
This, he’s looked ok going forward but is seriously lacking in pace and defensive nous at PL level. JoC would have stopped a lot of their attacks from getting into the boxThe trouble is most of the recent goals conceded have come down his side of defence, I notice when Norwood didn't track the runner Robinson was rooted to the spot , Hendo had to try and close the shooting angle.
I think it is more a Championship player who is still coming to terms of the speed of thought needed in the Premier League where things happen a lot faster even if the game seems to be at a lower pace at times. When there is an opportunity Premier league players are on to it like lightning. This, he’s looked ok going forward but is seriously lacking in pace and defensive nous at PL level. Meh. Perfectly acceptable back up. You wouldn't want him starting more than a couple of games.
But that throw ❤❤❤❤.
Did I hear McManaman call him Seth Robinson? His best game on a Blades shirt, looked much better than previous games and yes, that long throw looks like a good weapon for set pieces!

I just switch off (peripheral hearing) when any Scouse voice is involved in anything to do with football!Did I hear McManaman call him Seth Robinson?
Early crosses are more effective, difficult for the defenders to deal with. His cross for Basham and the one for McGoldrick's goal at Reading (which lots of people appear to have forgotten about) were the two of the best crosses of the season.
They seem to talk while gargling spit.
The only reason we got this far cause we didn't play anyone of noteWe dont have the stength in depth to cope with Europe in my opinion. We all know Wilder will fuck the League Cup off again next season. The only reason we’ve had a go at the FA Cup is cos we were safe in the league.
Robinson at an early age got into Liverpools first team but injuries have blighted his career and it nosedived. He has some pace and a good left foot. He made his name as a Left back and that would seem to be his best position. For me he's too small and lightweight for the LCB role but could be a good back up option for Enda.
Finding someone to compete with JOC at EPL level for the LCB role is a continuing conundrum for CW IMO amplified by the problems we have experienced down the left hand side during his absence.
This is entirely my own prejudice, but when that throw goes in, arrow like, I feel a bit dirty, as though we might be betraying our pure footballing principles, we shouldn’t need that kind of agricultural tactic.
That may be connected to the fact that I was living in Stoke when Rory Delap was taking every Stoke throw under Pulis and I hated the way they used it. I felt it should somehow have been outlawed, not quite sure how, but it definitely had no place in the game. Times change though, it does now![]()
