Really sorry to hear this Tynemouth!

Best wishes to you and your family and of course - Up the Blades!

Thank you for all of your kind words.

I've met many new friends from around the world, as well as in Sheffield, who are all part of the Blades family and yet again you've all gone to prove what a great set of fans we all are!

Hi Tynemouth
Really sorry to hear about your loss. My condolances at this sad time. Keep it together mate.

So very sorry to hear of your loss. Try to remember the happy times and to talk about her often to the kids, possibly hard to do just now. It may take a long time to come to terms with all this, but eventually you will, but in your own time. Don't be afraid to laugh with the kids, it is allowed! The kids will adapt very quickly, ask anyone on here who has lost a loved one. All these messages possibly sound trite, but may come in useful in the future. One day at a time is all you can do. All best wishes to you and your family.

Sincere condolences, very sad for you and your lads. Cancer is a truly awful disease and the sooner we find a way to eradicate it the better. Forget paying footballers millions, cap their wages and bang the rest into trying to find a cure for this type of illness. I know where I'd rather my hard earned cash go.

Don't really know what to say mate ,but really sorry for you and all the best.

My sincere condolences to you and your family. Cherish your wife's memory, and let her live on in your hearts, and thoughts, and words.

Sad news. Allow me to also offer my sincere condolence. Makes you think doesn't it

My sincere condolences to you and your lads. As a Dad of two young kids I wouldn't have a clue how to cope if anything was to happen to the wife. Hope the three of you can take comfort in each other and the happy memories.

Tynemouth,
we stroll through life whining about things which are infact unimportant....football is one of those things..
its easy to say chin up but I wish you all the very best....
Treasure the fact that you were the lucky one to have shared your life with that wonderful person
take care

Words are useless at times like this.

Talk about her and treasure the memories....it will be hard but worth it with time.

Take care of the lads and yourself and the "Blades family" are thinking of you!

Deepest sympathy for your loss Tynemouth.
It truly does put perspective on life when i hear of your devastating news.
Cherish every memory my friend.
Gary

Sincerest condolences Tynemouth. Treasure those memories, in times to come you will see and hear her in your lads, and all smile..

With regret I must share with my extended Blades family the sad loss of my wife.
She passed away on Monday last week after a short battle with cancer.
Although born in S6 and with her dad supporting the other lot, she would always show her support as a Blade (although never what we would call a big fan) and has been to the occasional game during our time together, constantly reminding me of "why do you put yourself through it?" after every loss.
A wonderful person, she'll be greatly missed by me and our 2 sons - both Blades - but everytime I watch a Blades game I'll remind myself 'why do I put myself through it?'

Hi Tynemouth - dont know you mate but you just brought a lump as big as a football to my throat.
So sorry to hear about your wife - the thoughts of all Blades will be with you and your lads.
Best wishes to you and the boys for the future.
