With regret I must share with my extended Blades family the sad loss of my wife.
She passed away on Monday last week after a short battle with cancer.
Although born in S6 and with her dad supporting the other lot, she would always show her support as a Blade (although never what we would call a big fan) and has been to the occasional game during our time together, constantly reminding me of "why do you put yourself through it?" after every loss.
A wonderful person, she'll be greatly missed by me and our 2 sons - both Blades - but everytime I watch a Blades game I'll remind myself 'why do I put myself through it?'

Really pissed about England - Not anymore I still have my beautiful wife and family. Hope you have enough support to get you through. All the best from Boo and family.

My sencerest condolances.

puts football into perspective really.

Dear Tynemouth,

I have been through this; it’s hard I know, my wife had a brain haemorrhage, while we were at the home game against Portsmouth in Jan 2007. We delayed the start of the second half.
There will be times when you really miss her, but keep the memories of the good times, they are so dear.
I know a lot of people say this but if there really is anything I can do for you just PM me.
Keep the faith and UTB

Dave

Deepest sympathy for your sad loss at this time, to you and your sons . Sort of puts it all into true perspective. Stay strong in your togetherness and remember the good times.

Wow, and I was pissed off about the football, this puts things in perspective.

Feel for you and your family mate.
