I still think there`s huge merit in re-regionalising the lower leagues.
Less travel.
More derbies.
Bigger crowds.
More revenues.
I think you're right but problems arise when teams get relegated and promoted so that you end up with 'southern' teams playing in the northern section and vice versa. I might be wrong but I think this was one of the reasons it was scrapped in the first place. So let's dream a little and imagine a scenario where L**ds and the Pigs get relegated (on the old system of 2 up 2 down) - who would play in the North and who would play in the South?
Or, we go ahead with the proposed extra League, have three regionalised leagues, North, Midlands, South.
Or, we just get the fuck out of this League never to darken it's doors again!
