Did I say it was unusual?? I just see people throwing it around that we have money, when it's not evidence at all.

For what it's worth, I don't think we are skint, I would use the term prudent, I will be surprised if we sign any player for 5 million, I don't think that's how COH are going about things, and I'm all for it, evidence not far away what happens when you spend above your station.

The lad from Barnsley and a couple more loans to fill out the forward options would be fine so long as that means there is budget being allocated on quality defensive reinforcements which is where we really need it.

Followed by those not good enough.

It would be a surprise if we got someone from there if McBurnie has gone to Hull City.

Club is worth about 1.5 times future income.that drops a lot if premier league money drops out of the equation.theyre here to make a profit and thats by flipping the club to a new owner in a few years. I cant see a world where we don’t see some spending to replace now some have gone

Not sure I’ve seen a concrete link to us was just having a morning coffee break browsing sky sports and saw the post so thought I’d share here as there’s a thread.

Think a striker is probably down the priority list at the moment behind RB, CB, Midfilder and wingers.

If we play one striker more often than not we’ve got Campbell, Cannon, One all competing for one place. I’m sure we’ll mix it up between 433 and 4222 but we’re not desperate in that area right now.

I think this is a good signing or every potential of being anyway but if push comes to shove I'd rather spend on that Nils zatterstrom from Malmö, Love both but dunno if we'd get both especially if we're after that Korean rightback too

With One, Cannon and Barry I dont quite agree but its a scary thought losing Campbell.
And fitness isn't exactly his strongest suit.

£3m, when we've sold Moore for around that isn't a gamble in my eyes.

No nessecarily on this player but we’ve been in the business of paying 7 figure loan fees for players we don’t even own. Plus covering PL or top flight wages.

If he’s decent 3 m will be a bargain. If he’s not it probably end up costing less than Clarke and gilchirist did last year and you’d still recoup something if you sold him.

After selling our second choice striker id imagine replacing him is a priority....amongst numerous other priorities given the amount of outgoings

That's the sort of player we're after. Someone who can play all three front positions....as the players we already have in Campbell, Cannon, One and Barry can.

Yes we are.
No way on earth does Campbell play all 46 games if we get middle 30's out of him we have done well.
You are then playing Russian roulette in regards injuries with the other two strikers, one of them being only young and unproven at Championship level.
We do need other positions as well especially centre half and right back.

3m is more of a fair gamble on a striker than a 10m on Cannon or 20m on Brewster/Mcburnie.
