He has got to feature - would love to see him start, but very much doubt it.

Regards new signings Wilder has always tended to ease them in gently...starting as sub.

However I expect Brewster to start today....or the plan might be to start him as sub but bring him on at 60 minutes...so he sees a full 30 minutes of game time.
The reason why he could start is because he joined before the international break....so the club have had plenty of time to work with him
Also none of the strikers have shown any form to date....so we’ve little to lose by playing Brewster.

Wilder & the players that have been asked have all said he's a big character already in the dressing room.

I found this video. Seems a top young lad. A lot of character.

According to The Athletic he was desperate to come here after speaking to Wilder & turned down Crystal Palace. He'll do for me. Really hope, for once, we've struck gold up front.

I'm struggling to see why he's starting games at the moment tbh. Especially against teams where we're going to have little of the ball.

It seems a bit unfair on him to just throw him in against Liverpool and City as well. Hasn't done him any favours.

He looked like a rabbit in the headlights against Liverpool. Looked a bit calmer today but offered nothing in either game. Surely in games against the top teams we're better off having someone more defensive minded up top who can hold the ball up? He were crying out for it first half.

You might be right, but can you imagine the meltdown if he hadn't featured in these games?

Yes and no. Young striker. Never played at this level. The logical thing to do would be to ease him in to games. Throwing him into the two biggest games of the season doesn't seem fair on him or sensible. Especially given we played two up top and not someone like Burke or McGoldrick next to him, who offer a bit more cover for the midfield.

It’s turned into a terrible transfer window for signings. These are good signings for the championship but rubbish for the premier league

Too early to say on pretty much all of them tbf but Ramsdale has grown into his role every game and looks solid at this level ampadu looked good against Liverpool but poor today so mixed bag Lowe too early to judge Bogle impossible to judge haven’t seen him yet and Brewster literally couldn’t have had two harder games to start it so you might be jumping the gun slightly and declaring them all not fit for purpose.

I’m not writing them off , but only ramsdale looks decent so far and he has played in the prem . Brewster. Way too early to say, But can only call it as it looks so far

It was about six months ago that people on here were calling Berge shit and a waste of money.
I mean anyone who said he looked out of place isn’t technically wrong looks head and shoulders above anyone else in red and white and not just literally

But that’s the point isn’t it the only one we have a large enough sample size to judge looks decent and is therefore a success and a positive indicator that our ability to identify and bring in quality remains good therefore I’m optimistic about the others. Will they all work out no probably not will a majority work I’d say given out track record the odds are good.

He has made 2 appearances for us. 2! Against a couple of the best teams in Europe. Has he played that great? Wouldn't say that no, but with piss poor service from the midfield only so much in general he can do. Hefty price tag for sure, but let's give the kid a bit more time before we write off him hey? I like all the attributes he has and think once he gets in the swing of things will be a real asset.

Same clowns who called on the board to stop pissing about and pay the money, during the prolonged negotiations, will be the same clowns now calling him shit and what a waste of money!
At Swansea- Mcburnie played 58 scored 22 Brewster played 20 scored 10. It's not the players that need looking at it's the system.
