Big things are afoot, this pandemic farce is altering the mindset of the Premier league minnows, and putting everybody else in the lower leagues close to folding... Imagine if we didn't have the PL money through this lockdown... Or the man that got us here..

18 million is a fortune, those belittling it, come on.. Fleck was a free transfer and Basham a trade.. Remember how far we've come.. And be humble enough not to compare ourselves with Liverpool... And what they spend..

Them and thier ilk are the reason the TV pay the Premier league big bucks.. Not us.

Klopp appears to be in no rush to push brewdog out the door to the first pair of knickers flashed at him, Wilder is patient (very as we know with previous signings), the board are cautious spenders as we found out with Lowe and Bogle. Everything adds up to a drawn out process.

According to Yorkshire Live Liverpool have become increasingly agitated by Sheffield United pissing about.

The price is £18 million and they have offered to let United pay on the never never

It says Liverpool have bent over backwards to accommodate United and provide Brewster with a move but United have dragged their heels for four weeks.

Depends who you want to believe I suppose, but considering we never make a signing without doing our business in a Morrocan market trader fashion first, it could be true

That kinda backs up the "dig at the board" Wilder made in his press conference.
What on earth is going on?! Are the board waiting on selling someone that we don't know about? This is a madness, highly promising and highly rated young English striker available for less than £20m in instalments and still no activity?! Absolute madness 😂

We must have some money or we wouldnt have spoken to Arsenal about Balogun and we wouldnt have let Freeman go out on loan instead of selling him
Wilder and the board know we need to sign a decent striker so there must be some kind of budget
I think its more complicated than what that Hemmingham guy is making out

We spoke to Arsenal alright, the problem is that we offered them a weekly Supertram pass and a bag of revels

Really disappointing if the reports are true that we are messing about when we’ve been given a figure and they’ve tried to accommodate. £18m isn’t crazy for a young English striker in today’s market, especially not if we can pay it in instalments of our choice. I understand we aren’t minted, but if we do miss out due to lack of funds, letting Luke Freeman leave on loan will be a bit unforgivable. Fingers crossed blades

Brewster deal is done.
Loan to buy.
Medical was done earlier today.
Deal completed in time for Brewster to participate on Sunday.
