Tremendous recruitment from the medical team in order to justify their existence.

Looking forward to sightings of John Ebbrell and Darren Anderton soon.

In fact, sod it - bring back Bash and JOC as well.

If we were signing him after he'd sat on the bench at LFC for a year, this would probably get more love. At least he played games this season, unlike some we currently have on the books....

Having said that, feels odd to be bolstering the part of the squad where we actually have quality and a bit of depth.

Perhaps the club are hoping he can do a similar job to what Barkley did for Luton, following a season away from the PL.

Is this CW's rehabilitation project this year after the Rodwell and Morrison debacles (and wastes of money!)?

You'd have to question whether he's still got the appetite to turn up to Shirecliffe every morning, put a max shift in and then be up for Plymouth away on a Tues evening

The guy was a top drawer player for Liverpool when the big injuries started. 40mill from Arsenal was it?

This would be a pretty bizarre move despite his big injury issues in recent years.
