Very few have published their list so why the negativity ?
I believe they are in the public domain around 8th June.

Yes loads haven't released there's but people are obviously hanging on to comments from the manager. What to believe anymore

Everyone is in contract til the end of June - and just about everyone in football is on holiday at the minute, so i'd relax and wait for the first week in July when preseason starts and then it'll be clear whos at the club and who isnt

Most contracts run until the end of June so some things will still be in negotiation until then

They’re aren’t mutually exclusive.
The decisions may have been made on several players and they know, others were still talking to.
You’d expect the manage to have agreed his position on players and told them by the deadline he gave but that doesn’t mean we need to share it with the world as yet.
The club know, the manager knows and the players know. There is no one else who needs to at the moment.

Far too sensible a comment, what are you doing?!!

I am sat at work wanting to constantly speculate about who our ball boys will be next season and whether the hotel will have a Billy Sharp themed room!

Actually, with that last one, a Basham suite where every time you climb into bed it shouts "Basham's arriving" could be fun

As far as we can make out (it's tough to find absolute specifics via a simple Google search but presumably something like the EFL Rules Handbook would be more enlightening) Clubs MUST submit their Retained List's to the EFL/PL by the 3rd Saturday of May - Clubs are under no obligation to publicize the lists at this point. There is a date, sometime in the first week of June if memory servers, when the list are made public.

We released it on 7th June last season, and probably around that time every previous season, so I would make a wild guess for it to be at the same this season.

Why wouldn't Archer have been retained? We aren't likely to let him go on free are we and Villa can't activate the buy back yet because the transfer window hasn't opened

I wondered if it’s because of Jebbison being under 24 so as we’ve made an offer, another team would have to pay compensation, where as the others are not u24s trained by the club so are technically available on a free unless they sign a new contract.

I would read "ongoing discussions" as being functionally identical to "offers made", I think the Jebbo thing is down to his yoof status as others have pointed out

It is the reason why Jebbison has been made offer in the event of any pending tribunal.
