West Ham will smell blood now, and any team will clearly realise to score against us, all they need to do is lob the ball into the box. And it's not like we can replace the back three either--at most, we can switch one out for Trusty. Yet, bizarrely, Hecky insists on playing Basham AHEAD of Trusty.

I was hoping the same when we played Newcastle on Sunday, they'd been all the way to Milan on a midweek night. As this is their first season in Europe for god knows how long I thought their squad wouldn't be used to it like the top 6 established clubs that do it season in season out.

How wrong was I? I still thought it possible they could easily beat us but didn't see a margin of 8 coming!

They also have a midfielder who is arguably the best deliverer of crosses and set-pieces in the league.

We bring 6 forwards on whilst winning 1-0 at 89 mins and take 5 defenders and keeper off, with the idea of defending from the front, whu score 2 in those last 25mins, McBurnie stands on refs foot whilst complaining ,banned for 6 games, Trusty still on bench at the end, Hecky blames training pitch for defeat

Why because fans are being realistic about our chances based on what they've seen before this match? At least they're being honest. I'd rather read negative honesty than positivity based on nothing more than blind hope or delusion. Sometimes you have to admit that things are crap when they're crap.
