Mandaric took a chance with the pigs last year and got rid of Gay Ron Smeg and the new manager syndrome worked for them so there's a chance it might work for us but who knows if we don't try it.

The appointment of a fascist as a manager flies in the face of Kick Racism Out. Di Canio can say he's a fascist but not a racist but I don't know of any fascist system that does not have enthnocentricity as a central plank of their totaliterian system.

The sooner this thread gets back to normal the better, in my view - Socrates, Mussolini, Enthnocentricity (FFS, what's going on?). Please let us return to our collective misery as soon as possible

You're missing his point. His point is that mountains of paperwork is not the sole province of democratic system. Fascism, Nazism and communism all gave more power to the state then any democratic system does, hence more bureaucracy.

Given that you apparently think a government run by non-democratic "experts" is more efffiicient than a democratic government, perhaps you would like to compare the efficiency and sustainability of the countries in the former category led by Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin in WWII with the countries in the latter actegory led by Roosevelt and Churchill.

It was indeed the Eastern Front that settled WWII. Stalinism was actually a very good system for creating a powerful military machine at massive human cost. Beyond that it was a massively disyfunctional and inefficient system. My point was that to ask where Nazism, Fascism and Communism are now? At one with Tyre and Nineveh as a poet once put it. Meanwhile, the "democratic" states are still going strong.

I am afraid your analysis of fascism is laughable. It was the petit bourgeoise that provided the mass support for both Hitler and Mussolini. Basically the middle classes, in fear of socialism and communism deserted the conservatives and liberals and supported the strong men they considered a better protection of their property. Once in power, it was the organised working class, the socialists and the communists that were crushed by fascists and Nazis alike.

cant you read a league table, weve not been outside the play offs since coming down , how does that lead t0 playing worksop, , so at worst we finish 4th say , how does finishing 3rd and 4th get near slumping 5 divisions

Wilson will take us to the play-offs again and it's all down to the home form . Very disapointing once again but who trusts mcabe to bring in a better manager certainly not me. He lost 2 from 4 in midfield. Flynn finished the season so really you could say needed to replace Williamson. I suppose he can't be blamed for not bringing in a right winger either?
