That is the penultimate game against a top 10 team away.

For us we have:
Millwall (15th)
Coventry (12th)
Blackpool (14th)
Stoke (13th)
Bristol (16th)
QPR (4th)

So an average placing of 12th with only two top half teams left to play out of 6 with 11 games left at home. Our away fixtures have been some of the hardest.

I saw a few dispondent remarks about Bournemouth being too far ahead so I thought I'd look at their run in.

Bournemouth pulled off an unlikely comeback at Blackpool (pity) but they have some more difficult trips coming up:
Swansea (18th)
Preston (11th)
Huddersfield (5th)
West Brom (9th)
Blades (8th)
Coventry (12th)
Blackburn (3rd)

Average position of 9th with 6 out of 7 games against teams in the top half. We took 3 points from the equivalent 18 matches (though haven't played Cov yet).

Win the game in hand and beat them at home being a must and then we are faced with clawing back 6 points.

During Hecky's reign so far we've amassed 23 points. During the same Bournemouth have taken 16.

Fingers crossed for a similar run.

That would do just fine!

COYRAWW!

Plenty of winnable games there away from home.

We have some tough home games v Fulham, Bournemouth, Forest, Boro, Blackburn.

We have momentum though and would fancy us home or away against anyone at the minute

Hecky has to pick our best team - our best team will have an outside chance of top 6

He dodged a bullet today

What's unbelievable (but absolutely believable for United) is that the changes to our squad involved resting players who cost practically nothing, and replacing them with about 40 million quids worth of (reserves)

Bit harsh.

A point away at a team in the top 6 who were unbeaten in 13 is not 2 points dropped in my books. It was the sort of game we would’ve lost early in the season
Probably a bit harsh - i think we are much better than that and seemed lost in direction which is strange for a hecky team - seemed always playing catch up

We needed a change at 60 at the latest , take a point yeah but go win it

I'm ready starting to hate these twats. In fact I feel quite angry about the injustice.

Look at the comments from the Stoke boss:

How incredibly familiar. Basically between us and Stoke alone, the officials have given them a 6 points leg up. Why? It's not as if the same regime hadn't been proven to have cheated to get up last time and settled 4.7m blood money.

It was a terrible weekend for us (and Boro) to take no points with so many at the top winning.

I really thought there was an outside chance of catching Bournemouth but the continuous need to rotate and the mounting injuries due to the yellow bastards that wouldn't play us is starting to take its toll and the weak as piss EFL just let it happen yet there is no recourse for us who did the right thing.

Hopefully against this adversity we can make the play offs and justice will be done. On our day we are better than all those teams that occupy the top 6 apart from Fulham. We have some good match winners. I just hope we can make it.

Same time it would be nice to see a bit of a turnaround. Hopefully when Bournemouth's cowardice to get the Swansea and Forest games off catches up with them in April they have the same debilitating injury list and start dropping points left, right and centre.

Disappointing as yesterday was we have to remember that this is a marathon, not a sprint.

8 home games and only 5 away for us. Let's win the lot!

You can't catch a team who the powers that be have already determined should go up.

Edit: I assume it's more to do with Parker than Bournemouth, you can just tell he's being groomed to be the next Southgate.
