I think he will rip Barnsley a new one Sunday!!
Said it before, not the weight that's his issue... its his conditioning and diet/ lifestyle.
Speaking with Strength and Conditioning coaches, its not something which is fixed quickly, its about conditioning the muscles to be used to the constant rigours of training, matches, recovery... so that things like hamstrings don't keep going
I really hope he comes good. We all do... but its about sorting his mindset out getting himself as fit as he can possibly be and staying there.
If he does that then the body fat % will naturally comedown.

What has dropped is the fact he is out of work in 8 months time !!I really want to believe him, maybe the penny has finally dropped.
^^^^^^^^^I am generally an optimist, an interesting stance to take and support the blades some might say!
And I certainly only wish the best for anybody who has the honour of putting on the red and white.
However, The cynic in me is voicing doubt that being in the last year of a contract it’s more about getting the next deal…..
That’s just my cynic though
Agree 100% diet and lifestyle have a huge impact on conditioning. I remember a good friend from years gone by who owned his own gym telling me getting the right shape and condition was only 25% what you did in the gym/training. The other 75% was what you put into your body and how you lived your life. Moose can put in all the gym sessions he likes but until he cuts out the gluttony on the junk food he will not improve.

He has a slave????After watching him warm up in front of me on Tuesday night, I can indeed confirm that his gluteus is certainly maximus.
Not wishing to be cynical at all, but thats the sort of message I’d have liked to have seen him put out when he still had another two years left on his contract.
He’s basically took the piss for two years, stolen a wage, been totally unprofessional and not given a second thought for the club, the fans, or the board, but now, coincidentally in the last year of his contract, he’s suddenly up for getting fit?
Well as they say, Fool me once…. etc, etc![]()

FACT.

So he basically needs to prioritise and commit to the lifestyle of being a professional athlete?Said it before, not the weight that's his issue... its his conditioning and diet/ lifestyle.

I think that's a bit unfair. He showed in the Premiership that he can operate as a lone frontman and held the ball up really well at times. He’s great if he’s running on to a through ball; a waste of space if the play is behind him or played up to him.
