The Andy Kennedy one springs to mind for me too. I was stood on the Kop and well remember him running with the ball from halfway before - unlike MGW when he was through on Tuesday night and Ndiaye on a couple of occasions recently - burying the ball in the top corner giving the Keeper no chance.

Frain’s last minute winner v Sunderland in the same season was indeed also a cracker…

Il always remember this because it was in my youth, couldn't afford all games so used to go for last 20 mins, that's what I did this game, he came on quite late and my mate said, why the foook has he brought him on for? 😂 😂 😂

When someone recycles this thread in 5 years time.... remember Ollie Burke scoring the winner at Old Trafford?
Hardly a Reight goal though was it? A scuffed pass!
The best thing about it was him sayin it was the proudest moment of his career 😂

Tony Fields isn’t going to get in any all time Blades eleven, but I seem to remember him scoring a great goal at Bramall Lane, where he beat about five players before putting it int onion bag.

Tony McMahon got a couple of free kicks didn't he? And Jay McEveley from about 30 yards in front of the Kop

It was a brilliant goal but I always remember the game as being one we should have won, and which revealed the frailties that would see us start sliding down the table and Porterfield sacked.

We’d won 5 on the bounce going into this game and even though we’d go and thump league leaders Portsmouth at their place the following week, that Blackburn fixture felt like a momentum-stopper. It all went downhill after the Portsmouth game.

United were winning 3-2 until the last minute when Burridge inexplicably chucked a soft bobbling shot which he could have chucked his cap on, over his shoulder and into our net. Royally fucked me off this after such a worldie goal scored by us by Steve Wigley to their poxy ridiculous giveaway goal.

Gary Hamson and Terry Nicholl ,both v Liverpool at the lane.
Didnt Paul Casey once get one too ?

Does anyone remember Michael Brown's volley against Birmingham? Season before the Triple Assault. Think it was the best goal he scored for us, but I've not seen it since watching the highlights on ITV Digital years ago.

Nathan Thomas with this one about 5 years ago:

I'm sure Luton Shelton (RIP) scored a fantastic solo goal away at Colchester the year after we were relegated back to the Championship but can't find any highlights of it.

Giant of a man Greek Bloke kop end 25 yard screamer……ffs someone tell me his name it’s driving me insane.
Went on to play for roma don't know what he's doing now, also captained Greece to the euros on 2004,what a star we let go

I couldn't remember if he died or not but a few years ago I saw a video of him and his wife while he was suffering with that awful disease he couldn't talk or anything 😔 bless him RIP Luton Shelton.

Traianos Dellas, thread closed
Took me ages to find that goal On video, finally found it on Pompeys season review I think? It was v them wasn’t it? Wasnt as far out as I’d remembered although in my mind he struck it from London road

Shit shot that took a few deflections on the way in. Not a reyt goal.

His one and only league goal for us and how long before we win at Old Trafford again.
