We did well to come back, but we bottled the pens and that was when it mattered.

Might just be me but he seemed to give us alot of the 50 50s,if anything he was our man of the match

He refereed with common sense allowing the advantage and calling play back when it did not provide a positive result. Treating the players like adults.
it does however always amaze me that all in wrestling ( Berge ) is allowed when taking corners yet frowned upon in other areas of the pitch. Surely he and / or his assistants should have noticed.

I was hoping Hecky was going to sub Norwood for Hourihane for the shootout as I knew Norwood would miss. Turns out that plan wouldn't have worked anyway!

The referee was good last night and managed to calm down a very heated first half without having to resort to too many cards.
