Peter O'Rourke is usually a very good source.

Also sounds like it will be a permanent given he's in the final year of his contract.

I hadn't appreciated he's only 21 and that last year was his first in senior football.
This mitigates a lot of my concerns about his inconsistencies and decision making.

All things considered, I think he'd be a very astute signing with - potentially - a lot of upside.

I've only seen him play twice but there is so much about him to get excited about. Watching back the highlights of that game, not only is he fast and a great dribbler he looks to have fantastic technique, a few great crosses and some really nice attempts. Lazy comparison but really does look like a great MGW replacement. Get it done Yanited

Another angle on replacing MGW would be to say Berge wasn't available for the full season and if he could be this time, in addition to signing Khadra, that should be more than enough to replace his contribution across 46 games

Said the same on the other thread, but if they sell him now for a nominal fee they can add on a buy-back clause. They don’t need to get him to sign a new deal and pay millions on wages especially as they clearly have doubts over his long term ability to make their first team. If he comes good they can get him back much cheaper and they’ll make a million quid or so selling him if he doesn’t.
