Find it really hard to listen to these now as Chad seems to be trying too. Hard to be an authentic Sheffielder and is overly negative about everything

I used to love the pair of yous boundless enthusiasm for everything blades related but now I find it a hard listen
There are enough miserable Sheffielders doing podcasts with hardly a positive comment ever made shame you've felt the need to. Go down that road

So many times this season we've matched the level of the opponent and nothing more, bar that little bit of quality to see us over the line.

Yeah, hopefully we'll approach it like we did the Boro match and take the game to them. I do have a sneaking suspicion that we'll set up to contain them though with Choudhury and Vini in the middle...hope I'm wrong

I think both Pompey and Luton proved leaving Peck out of the side is a massive mistake. Keep in one of Souza or Choudhury (prefer Souza) and start peck.

Chad always makes me laugh because he’s so much like a traditional Sheffielder thriving on/ almost enjoying the negative angle.

We always tend to find that Americans are often irrationally positive, it’s in-built into your culture to be “winners” and desire to support “the best”.
However in English culture, especially in Sheffield we like to complain, appreciate the underdog and often have the desire is to be “good losers”.
So you do have quite a lot of Sheff Utd who don’t want to see us in the Premier league where the big money is.

If Sheffiled United ever became really good in the Premier league and became fashionable to support
There are plenty of Sheffielders who would feel uncomfortable and stop attending matches…..I feel Chad could be the same.

Altho to be honest last season was a devastating season for any Blade who cares, it’s the lowest I’ve ever felt supporting us in 40 years.
I had hardly any pre match enthusiasm watching our games from Feb time and I was a season ticket holder.
Starting a match where you had no chance of even drawing is soul destroying, so plaudits to anyone who had to commentate on them.

As Ched said at half time against Spurs he considered ending the broadcast because the game was already effectively over.
Think many of our fans were in danger of suffering PTSD last season so it was essential we got off to a good start this season.
