There’s a few Baldock being one and the younger players who have development in them are also assets to the club. The older players are not saleable assets but realistically they weren’t at the end of last season either that hasn’t changed no one was paying anything but a nominal fee for billy, McGoldrick, jags or even Norwood. We could’ve got half decent money for Stevens so yeah he’s lost value.

Ampadu was get another big mistake. The lads hardly played any games in his career so far, he's poor at the back and in midfield. A waste of an important loan, Gallagher who went to WBA would have been a much better option

Out of it all the really baffling decision were buying the 2 lads from derby, I just can't work that out

In hindsight yes I’d agree but the logic was there with the ampadu signing covers multiple positions and we beat of other interest to sign him. However imo he was our poorest player today game past him by and he did a lot of arm waving instead of putting it all on the line.

He really was loan players don’t help in a relegation scrap because effectively they have nothing on the line. If we go down he’ll still keep his Chelsea contract still get international recognition for wales and will likely get another prem or top European league loan as Chelsea will spin it as he couldn’t perform in such a bad team. He has nothing to lose.

All the Berge loyalists were saying give him time to settle last season, well he's had more than enough time to settle now and he's still miles off it. Sell and take the loss along with what we can get for them all. Complete rebuild required.

Ampadu was a strange signing - almost like CW brought him in because he wanted him last year, without considering whether we still needed him. Add it to the best transfer window mistakes which included signing Derby reserves and not replacing JOC. Great business.
