19. I've had the day off, and I've been to the City Hall to watch my wife getting her degree from Robert Winston. Then we went on the Big Wheel, and managed to see Bramall Lane basking in the sun and Hillsborough with a kind of putrid shitty cloud hanging over it at the same time. There's Becks in the fridge and three fine cigars waiting for me later, and I don't have to endure 90 minutes of shit football tomorrow. It's all gravy.

22. Just completed 4 long weeks of travelling.

Germany, Holland, Belgium, Boston (USA), Switzerland, and France, and now I don't have to get on another aeroplane until 2010.

Only bad thing, I've now got to do my expenses!!!!!

My wife coming home from hospital after a miscarriage. Not a very cheerful thing in itself, but i'd rather her be at home. Once she's asleep tonight i will be imbibing a fair bit of whisky.
